Not my favorite of all time (I don't know which is) but I saw this picture the other day and I've liked it quite a bit. Cheers!

Not the same arch

It's not a side-by-side comparison. Those are two archways positioned next to each other, and the past picture is of the left one.

It is a painting, but it really captures the spririt of the story. Other "Death of Archimedes" paintings do not.

fucking faggot had statues of naked dudes in his house I'm glad he got killed

Actually during his time, statues were clothed. Painting is from 1815.

Those brave Poles, cleaning a German toilet is something few men dare to do

not my favourite per se, but still

I always found it odd how the ARVN continued to successfully (to some extent) resist the North even as their country crumbled around them

What an amazing bike.

you have already posted this.

I like the ARVN

this is bizarre, the background city and the filter makes it look like later 20th century Russia but with occupying Germans in the foreground

This can't be ww2, can it? The Stahlhelm is there, sure, but that assault rifle doesn't look like a STG44 and the guy facing the camera seems to have way too modern equipment.

>So... do you think it can get worse from here?

You'd think the five names would give it away.

>It's pretty cold up here, lads.

Wtf why the road was better?

Always liked this one

IT says grozny tard, Chechen war, they are wearing the afghanka suits which were made during the Afghanistan war or made famous by it.

Is this in the Alps or the Carpathians?

thanks for noticing user
here's a happy one

1917 and judging by the height of the mountains i'm guessing Alps

How is it possible for me to miss a man dead 45 years before I was born?
I wish the fuhrer was alive today.

Me too, user. Me too.
I may or may not have broken down crying in a restaurant once over him. M-May have.

idk about pictures, but if anyone has more of these specific ones, pls post or direct me to where I can find more.

I love the surreal feeling that you get from this

>German commandos being executed for wearing American uniforms.
