There is some ambiguity there because Dragutin Dimitrijević, the Serbian military's head of intelligence, also happened to be the Black Hand's leader. However, there is also evidence that Dragutin disapproved that the plot to assassinate Ferdinand, tried to stop it from happening, and even attempted to warn Austria about what was going to happen. The Young Bosnia group, of which Gavrilo Princip was a member, did receive some financial assistance from the Black Hand. However, they were actually disobeying direct instructions from the Black Hand when they decided to go ahead with the assassination plot after being explicitly ordered not to do it.

Why do people fail to realize that AH's war against Serbia was a logical course of events? AH didn't have autistic dreams about world domination, colonies and similar crap. They just ended up in an incredibly shitty situation with an ally that eventually started not only treating them as shit but de facto holding them hostage.

AH had no quarrel with Britain, France, Russia, USA or even Italy. AH always relied on diplomacy and negotiations rather than brute force, and everyone knew this. It neither wanted nor thought itself to be a military superpower. It just ended up on the side of a country that did.
