...

I too wake up at 5:79 AM.

I have both home gym and gym membership.

Lifting at home eventually gets boring doing Squats/Bench/Deadlifts/OHP/Rows/Chin-Ups.

Having access to a variety of equipment at a proper gym makes lifting a lot more enjoyable.

include me in the screenshot

Make sure you don't include this fuck stain
>hi r/Veeky Forums :-)

>Hear shouting and crying from inside his souse shortly after
who was crying?
dad or daughters?

did someone post this on leddit yet?

imagine unironically taking it seriously and thinking that every vaguely funny post needs to get posted to le ebic rebbit

you don't belong here

My Home gym gear:
Pull Up bar
Swiss bar 45 Kg
Ab Trainer bench ( frequently used as incline bench)
2x 25 Kg dumbbells
1x 12 Kg dumbell
1x 7 Kg dumbbell
A 16 Kg Kettlebell

Basically all I need. Might consider getting a dip belt. Got some loose plates lying around. Btw Eurofag here, sorry for Kg measurement. Too lazy to convert.

45 kg bar?

>lifting naked in your home gym

best feel

Poverty level homegym mustard gaze

Sup brother

I upgraded mine recently I now have a floor which is not grass. I use this to train when I visit my parents town. Mostly I still train in my uni gym that has more equipment than I could ever need though.

Fucking sweet setup.
I just bring a piece of plywood to stand on. Works fine for all the lifts even Oly.
Only bad thing is that I have to use the quad to bring out all the weights

Getting this goosed over nothing

...

Cmon then boys lets all post our home gyms!

garhhh!

work in progress, but it gets the job done

put a mirror somewhere

yeahhh boy its me again dropping my gym pics

...

>tfw fell for the student meme and don't live at home
Can't build a home gym when I'm a rentcuck

Please rate

Fucking shit fuck always rotates

...

Blimey

>Not doing calisthenics
The only equipment you need is a pair of gymnastic rings at like $30

...

yup. waiting on the power cage and new dumbbells with rack. Then I will know where to put the mirror.

oh my

yes you can, you just need a room large enough

do you want to make it or not?

Its nice.

>it's coated in flower too

I choked on my diet Dr. Pepper

...

Fuck your excuses. I moved 4 times during my time at uni and each time moved my weights with me and/or bought new equipment each time.

>He starts waving a barebell around, muttering about fucking pianos.

T. Dyel

>throws plastic scoops at me

Nice, my garage is full of crap so I can barely move around.

Is that deadlift platform custom? You may also want to get some bumpers for didies.

blaaady ell boys

The platform is custom in that I built it, but it's just the standard DIY weightlifting platform you can find all over the internet. And yeah, at least a pair of 45 bumpers is on the list of shit to get, but the 1-1/2" of plywood and 3/4" of horses stall mats do a pretty good job of soaking up all the impact if I let a rep down too quick

I wish there was a cheaper gym near me. My room looks unaesthetic with all the metal crowding it and aesthetics is all I lift for, so it hurts me physically.

Still, fuck paying $15 a fucking week to use a shit gym with a "free weights" area consisting entirely of sub 50kg dumbells.

wtf wouldnt everything get rusted up?

>not finding a park with a few miscellaneous bars and conveniently shaped trees

2 bins, acts as squat rack, OHP rack etc.. squatting 140kg, and also using the two bins for floor press.

I love in Australia, racks are about 600-800$, bars are 200-900$+$, 100kg of pumper plates are like 300$.

People might think I'm fucking around, but that really is my setup.

How much you pay for the rack?

Bought a rack second hand for 250aud
It's fucking great

Check gumtree daily

Wanted a used, but how the fuck you transport it? Did you take it apart?

Just unscrewed the 2 sides and chuckes it in my brother's ute
It looks like this basically

I couldn't be happier with it because we dont have the room for a full cage anyway

Get a power rack, it's worth the extra money. Most have pull up bars and the capacity to add a latt pulldown attachment. With some even having dip bars.
I drive a fiesta ( which isn't a big car) and I could fit all the beams for the rack in my car. So you won't have a problem.

Can't lift on Thursdays

At least we have nice looking brick houses.

What do you use for flooring? I have mine on a concrete floor in my garage.

celingbrah from last may here, r8 current setup

i just did some calculations and it seems ive spent over 2k great British pounds! on my home gym
£700 for 1-40kg dumbbells + rack
£300 for a multigym machine with 100kg stack)
£300 for a leg press
£270 for a lever press/ shoulder press machine
£150 for 250kg+ of mixed plates
£80 for adjustable squat rack
£30 on barbells
£200 on rubber flooring
£40 on adjustable bench

a lot of leases don't allow you to have weights

Had home gym for a year, didnt like it, so I sold it all again. It was nice, listening own music, lifting in comfort, not having to wait ever.

But I missed the gym, I actually love being at the gym, the gym culture motivates me to go harder. When you see all the ripped ass motherfuckers go hard it motivates me to go harder aswell. Besides the fit qt's in yoga pants are basically a free test boost

lmao what a cuck

If your paying around £30pm for membership you'll pay back your membership fee's in 5.5 years.

Not everyone enjoys the company of the typical gym goer.

>spent $310 for 3 years at a gym that includes a pool.
The cable machines are fucking shit but it's 24 hours and I very rarely have to wait for equipment even at peak hour since its mostly resolutioner tier people doing meme workouts. A power rack plus bench and barbell and dumbbells and plates and mats would probably cost at least $1000. That's more than 9 years worth of membership at my gym and I don't have to worry about damaging my floors or taking up space or packing it all up and setting it back up if I ever move house.

i can beat that, BEHOLD MY MILK CRATE SQUAT RACK WHICH MIXES THE BURN OF LIFTING WITH THE THRILL OF RISKING MY LIFE, EVERY. SINGLE. SQUAT. i fucking hate Australian prices. ive put her up to 100kg but i feel like im really tempting fate at that

>Sydney man kills himself in homemade death contraption, more news at 11

Nope, I don't care about looking big since I don't need to compensate for a tiny dick, I care about being strong and athletic.

This is why i still come to this board

>really hate the low ceiling height

so i started doing bodyweight stuff a couple months ago because im broke and live in the middle of nowhere. yesterday i was telling this to my uncle and hes gonna hook me up with his old dumbbells and plates.

ill have these plates (probably missing a couple)
>4x 1kg
>4x 2kg
>4x 5kg
>4x 10kg

and i got a pullup bar. is this alright for starting? maybe next year ill be able to get a barbell and a rack

Better than nothing, but not even close to what you need. You want at least 100kg of plates to get into lifting iron beyond the first few weeks.

how can you live like that?

Damn son nice

...

I love you, no homo

are you the one?
