Sentinelese D is the result of a relatively recent founder effect. Southern Chinese D split 35,000 years ago from the Tibetan branch while the Japanese D split 22,900 years ago from a more basal branch.

Koreans are a mix of Koreanic speakers from Jilin/Liaodong/northern Korea and peninsular Japonic speakers from central/southern Korea.
