Is apple cider vinegar placebo? or legit?

is apple cider vinegar placebo? or legit?

my dad started drinking it after trying a bunch of different things for joint pain and non of them worked, apparently it cleared it up almost immediately and he's been chugging ever since

I use on my hair instead of shampoo.

Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue, T-Gel... none of those cured my dandruff and itchy scalp.

But the apple cider vinegar does. Pair that with some after-shower coconut oil in my hair and I'm feeling better.

I do this but with baking soda initially and acv a as wash.

It's some good shit though

How much do you use? Like a tablespoon diluted with water or what?

Depends on how much hair you have. I typically keep an 8 oz mason jar in the shower and fill about 1 oz.

I once took an appetite suppressant that contained vinegar and some vegetable juice.

It worked but it was too expensive to keep taking, then I gained all the weight back after I stopped taking it.

a placebo for what?

mamu gib me milky

nice tip, thanks. I'll try this and only do castile soap 1x weekly.

I also notice that drinking it makes the heart beat stronger and clears the sinuses.

ACV + honey is the only salad dressing I use now. I also added it to guacamole to prevent browning, then brought it up to consistency with wheat germ.

It seems to help, but only if you don't go full retard. I met someone that got really skinny because he chugs at least 2 cups a day undiluted, BUT he now has a weak stomach and is susceptible to ulcers if he gets too stressed.

Gee, I wonder why.

MILKY MILKY I WANTY I WANTY

It's helping with my acne, two tbsp of ACV, a bit of water, and honey for taste. I do that every morning and night.

Ummmm if you read online every says dilute like 1:1 with water.

But I don't dilute at all. I put it in a spray bottle and just spray into my hair. Don't use the mist, set the spray bottle to shoot out a stream. Just spray directly into scalp and rub around with hands until your scalp is coated. 5 sprays will probably do you. Let it sit for a minute then rinse thoroughly so you don't smell like vinegar.

Als, wipe you forehead dry so that it doesn't run into your eyes.

It will burn at first but over time the burning will stop. I haven't heard about any negative effects, so hopefully it doesn't burn off you hair or anything.

The coconut oil is also helping a lot. I just use food grade cocount oil and rub it in my hair. My hair is softer and I have less dryness. My hair does look a bit greasy though -- maybe comb your hair so it looks more like pomeaid.

What I mean is, it burns for the first month, but after that your scalp acclimate and it doesn't burn anymore.

What so you just drink it and it does all this incredible stuff?
Joint pain, acne, appetite suppressant? What else? How/Why?

Im a little sceptical but also very interested to find more out about it.

it has to do with balancing the bodies ph level which is legitimately really important

the idea goes that basically every single thing we normally eat and drink in modern life is acidic and acv is one of the few things that ist (it is an acid but gets converted when you drink it)

how effective acv is at doing this and how much you actually need to be drinking is up for debate i guess though

long story short its the same as taking a supplement that youre deficient in and reaping the benefits of it (like feeling better from D supplements when you were deficient in it)

This^^^
I work as a store nutrition specialist so I get paid to shill this among many other things. A lot of it is placebo/ has no real research behind it, like the appetite suppressant, acne and cancer prevention i've seen some places talk about, but some of its beneficial effects are totally valid.

It does help combat the acidosis resulting form the average american diet, which itself is a cause of many health issues. For some reason, ACV and coconut vinegar are the only 2 vinegars that become alkaline when metabolized.

Also, the 'mother' that's is the raw unfiltered stuff has a tiny bit of research indicating it does contain an unknown amount of live probiotics, much there is much more solid research speaking to its immense prebiotic properties.

tl;dr It has research backing up stuff and is generally good, but is not the miracle cure-all people think it is.

so how much are you supposed to be drinking daily?

You have to apply it topically if you want it to help your skin. For skin dilute 1/4 cup into a cup of water. Lasts me about a week before the actual penis shaped bottle I put it in needs to be refilled. I like to pretend it's piss.

2tsp to 2tbsp is the generally accepted range, it hasn't demonstrated any adverse effects in people who do drink it, but is enough to reap the benefits

Personally I go in between at 1Tbsp

jesus fucking christ how do i find a woman with these genetics

Disgusting

No science for this but a friend was getting the worst heart burn from acid reflex and two tablespoons of ACV a day completely cured him.

The scientific explanation is same as The alkalinity resulting from metabolization of the
ACV helps quell the acidity of the acid reflux.

do you guys just drink it out of hte bottle? a teaspoon a day?
