So, from Finland it was only the air force doing the fighting?

Scratch the SS divisions from it; their numbers were low enough to be inconsequential in the face of the entire front. The Russian Army of Liberation should also go since that was a propaganda meme up until late 1944, and even then it never went into combat.

Also
>Division Azul is in the picture
>the fucking Romanians aren't

fairly accurate tbqh

Maybe add Free France in the last panel, all three gave naval/aerial support

no American boots were in the eastern front though

I'm assuming they mean materiel aid to the USSR.

Seconding France tbqh, Normandie-Niemen was a good unit.

i doubt that was the case, im sure they sent a few thousand over even just for training or some shit

but in any case don't be so autistic with OP

>swastika instead of iron cross
sacré bleu

Fairly accurate. Overplays US involvement though. Also the Germans had the advantage until early 43.

fixed

>i doubt that was the case, im sure they sent a few thousand over even just for training or some shit
It was mainly British who were involved in training, primarily focusing on aviation and teaching Soviets how to fly lendlease Hurricanes.

>croatia and estonia had the same fighting power as the ussr

Germans outnumbered and outgunned the Soviets during the attack.

We were smart enough to let the Russians do the fighting with our equipment, but kept enough pressure off that they still lost a huge share of their population.

Now Germany is a cuck state of the US and Russia has an economy smaller than Brazil or Italy and a per capita GDP below a lot of Latin America and a male life expectancy in the 50s.

Not bad at all.

Only thing we fucked up bad was supporting China to fuck with the USSR a little too much but we'll fuck them too.

*fixed

They had less men, less artillery, less tanks, and less planes user...

Which retard made this. How was the US in any way whatsoever a larger player than the ussr on the eastern front? What are the sizes supposed to represent? Industrial capacity? Manpower? Total effect?

>overplaying the only reason why they were able to launch offensives they did in 1944 and consequently win

improved the accuracy a little

lend lease

no lend lease, no ussr

And they still lost like the subhuman krauts that they were

>blue division
>that small

maybe increase it a little for saving army group north ass a few times

Material aid did not help in the defense of Moscow or in the protection of the USSR. Material aid helped only in later Soviet offenses. The Soviets had most certainly survived the Nazi offenses without land-lease and the war was already looking very bad for Germany.

The US is far overplayed in this image, if anything Anglo intelligence played a greater role in the defense of the USSR then any American trucks did.

actual historical version coming through

whats the best book on WWII?

Bullshit

Mein kampf

...

The ussr survived for 1941 and most of 1942 without any significant lend lease. It was already winning by the time it arrived in significant numbers in and after Kursk. At most operations like bagration would be smaller in scope with fewer trucks and the allies would reach Berlin first.

This is funny to me

You forgot Japan.

to be fair italy was pretty instrumental to the axis loss in both grand strategy and at stalingrad

because japan wasn't involved in the eastern front

they lost a small border skirmish a year before ww2 even started

Soviets had love on their side

American boots were literally on the front via lend lease.

...

>want to refute but realized he used "literally" correctly

that's not suppose to happen
Though it's kinda questionable comparing resources to human lives.

>Russian volunteers
>doing literally anything

>less men
At the onset of the invasion, the Red Army had between 2.5 and 3 million troops on their western territories. The Germans invaded with about 4 million men, including those of their allies.

The Soviets did have more men in general, but a lot of those men had to be transported over to the West.

>less artillery, tanks, planes
True (although I can't find numbers on the number of Soviet artillery pieces deployed), but that is only half the story.

The Soviets did outnumber the Germans in terms of planes and tanks, and pretty handily at that, but the Soviets were woefully ill-prepared for the German invasion. They were prepared for a war in general, but not this specific war at this specific time. Neither were they planning an invasion themselves, as some believe. Soviet military doctrine at the time called for Soviet forces to bring a defensive war onto enemy territory. For two reasons, I expect; firstly that any pro-Soviet uprising in the enemy country would help them, and secondly that the Soviet leadership did not trust its own populace and fully expected them to rise up against them in the event of war (this is partially why Stalin lost his shit when the Germans attacked). Attempts to implement this policy in the wake of Barbarossa failed spectacularly.

At all critical junctions of the invasion, the Germans were able to outgun the Soviet forces they encountered, in spite of many cases of heroic resistance by Soviet forces.

Soviets destroyed the largest and most prestigious army the IJA had.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwantung_Army
No knock on the Americans, they mostly fought the IJN.

>Soviets destroyed the largest and most prestigious army the IJA had.
That's bullshit for two reasons.
1. They didn't destroy the army, it was still fighting and inflicting casualties at a rate of about 1-2 when the surrender was ordered due to the atomic bombs.
2. The Kwantung Army at that point was quite literally the worst formation in the entire Japanese Empire because it had been the only army group doing no actual fighting.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soviet_invasion_of_Manchuria#Combatant_forces
>The Kwantung Army had over 700,000 men in twenty-five divisions and six Independent Mixed Brigades. These contained 1,215 armored vehicles (mostly armored cars and tankettes), 6,700 artillery pieces (mostly light), and 1,800 aircraft (mostly trainers and obsolete types). The Kwantung Army was far below authorized strength; most of its heavy equipment and all of its best military units had been transferred to the Pacific Theater over the previous three years to contend with the advance of American forces. They were also deployed against the Nationalist Chinese in Operation Ichigo. By 1945, the Kwantung Army contained a large number of raw recruits and militia, with generally obsolete, light, or otherwise limited equipment. Almost all of the tanks were early 1930s models such as the Type 95 Ha-Go and Type 89 I-Go, the anti-tank units only possessed Type 1 37 mm Anti-Tank Guns that were ineffective against Soviet armor, and the infantry had very few machine guns and no anti-materiel rifles or submachine guns. As a result, the Japanese forces in Manchuria and Korea had essentially been reduced to a light infantry counter-insurgency force with limited mobility or ability to fight a conventional land war against a coordinated enemy. In fact, only six of the Kwantung Army's divisions existed prior to January 1945. Accordingly, the Japanese considered none of the Kwantung Army's units to be combat ready, with some units being declared less than 15% ready.[18]

Propaganda, 90% of lend lease came after 1942, when the German offensive was already being pushed back

>And they still lost like the subhuman krauts that they were
And yet It take millions of russians, brits, americans, french and other to take them down.
You will be butt fucked if you were alone.

>Bulgarians
>Eastern Front

The vast majority of soviet tanks and aircraft were destroyed out of combat due to bombing in case of aircraft an fuel loss in terms of tanks. Until late 1942, the soviets had an extremely small amount of planes versus the german airfleet bolstered by Romanian and Italian aircraft. For example, the Southern front(Stalingrad) had around 90 soviet planes(most of them later destroyed) throughout the battle. As for artillery. During barbarossa, the german artillery always outneumbered the soviet ones by 1,5:1

I get that Russian state media and tankies are annoying on this subject but why swing in the completely opposite direction and state that Lend Lease was the only factor keeping the Soviet Union from collapsing? Can there be no middle ground here?

Should add Jack Frost to russian side for hindering/killing so many nazi.

...

The only thing americans did in eastern front was supply Russians with materials which only heavily helped in late offensives like Bagration.
Russians were surviving against germans pretty well without land-lease by that point, so american intervention is overplayed here.
Germans never had a chance after the defeat at Moscow and they were only delaying their demise by caucasian offensive.

Why are Americans so delusional? They're almost as bad as France

Weak fix. Reduce the size of America to smaller than the average size of those emblems on the right. Then it will be slightly more accurate.

Yes the majority of Russian railways (their primary method of transportation) having American railcars running on then, probably filled with American food, boots, tanks
Russians were not surviving pretty well at fucking all
Lend lease, even just the British arctic convoys were a big part in giving the Russians a fighting chance, because Russia was being run with western money, western goods and western equipment

Why are Russians so delusional to think that things were fine without western support

They were pretty good at liberating Slovakia

Bulgaria did nothing.
The Russian Liberation Army was useless.
Baltics did nothing significant.

>Book made almost 20 years prior to WWII
>"book on WWII"

Non-revisionist version here.

without the embargo+bombing campaigns on germany+lend lease the USSR probably would have lost

Bullshit.

Holy shit no one has actually fixed the image yet I am about to this is triggering my tisms

The fact that Germany is on the right (east) and the Soviet Union is on the left (west) is literally driving me insane.

Not really
Human lives are worthless if they don't have the equipment to fight
Without the Eternal American funding the war, the Germans probably would've won the war of attrition in the East

russia should be twice as big as germany. They only reason they won is because they were able to keep sacrificing disposable soldiers until winter came.
