But Zhukov was Chief of the General Staff for only like 5 months.
Also is this from some parody movie? Hollywood is so shite I can't tell anymore.
It's from some shitty parody about the aftermath of Stalin's death.
It's litterally a comedy...
> a comedy...
British film based on a french comic
youtube.com
Yes. Black comedy is a thing.
Seems pretty good. If this pissed off Russians and commies then even better, Russia was always a joke anyway
Comedy kino

Is that Lucy Malfoy?
Yes.
He does it in a broad northern English accent, I really don't think they cared too much about accuracy here.
...
He was talking about a mine field in front of a pillbox, and explaining that if you try to use vehicles and other means to disable the mines, you will lose more people from machine gun and sniper fire, than you would charging through the minefield with infantry and only moving vehicles later.

Fuck off shitposters...
MARSHAL ZHUKOV I POBEDA!
it's the movie adaptation of a comic filled with lies and propaganda
>Tankies believe this
>soviet ww2 sources are PROPAGANDAAAAAA
>nazi ww2 sources are fact!
>The Soviets seemed to think that great victories inevitably require high casualties.
Russian waves confirmed I guess.
You know that war is over, right? That we saw who won?
>I only regret that I have but one million lives to lose for my country
Georgy Zhukov
He killed trillions.
WW2: Allied victory
more like they knew that victory requires seasoned troops drenched in blood
How many alternative universes is that fella' going to infiltrate?
to kill quadrillions
the numbers for the middle one can't be right
>didn't even pick the right soviet anthem version
trash
>wahh they didn't like the movie I liked
The Death of Stalin was bad
Yeah? Name 15 bad things about it.
Historical accuracy isn't a valid criticism with parody by the way.

You're posting snippets of data because you're a retard who didn't bother to read about those operations.
Both 2nd and 3rd Kharkov resulted in encirclement.
So there was no ''rushing'' you retarded fuck. You could use that argument for something like Rzhev.
Eastern Front was vast, troop density was low, terrain was flat, and Germans were quite superior in operational sense, which often resulted in encirclement and surrender. That's why you see higher loses.
Furthermore plenty of those battle statistics suffer from the problem of different German and Soviet method of counting casualties, and sometimes German casualties are counted only for narrow front of specific battle, while Soviet casualties count counter-offensives across far wider front.
Big picture: in combat, Soviets suffered 30% more deaths than Axis.
