Fat acceptance is the worst thing feminism has come up with. Feminism does not have men's best interests at heart; most feminists do not understand men, and see us as the villains in their distorted, oversimplified gender-centric worldview, and so many of their behavioural prescriptions for men are bad for us (and most of the ones that aren't, you don't need to be feminist to get to).

Fat acceptance for men is a thing of horror. Men who give in to it and stop striving to compete and excel and improve themselves are pitiful and contemptible and to be ignored and dismissed as being unworthy of their betters' attention.

There's something very disturbing out this picture. The "good times" allow people who would not have survived in harsher times to not only survive, but to thrive. Their inherent weaknesses eventually bring about the end of the society of comfort, as they undermine the principles that founded such a society and which are required to keep it operating indefinitely. It has happened countless times throughout history and is the result of our desire to see our fellow man succeed, sometimes even at our own expense.

But the body acceptance stuff disregards all of that and ultimately only cycles in immaterial policy.
