They're super big, but I think they're big for someone who never hits them direct or does any deadlifts.

Nah I wouldn't. Too big traps are something that fucks up a whole look. Train your shoulders (isolate!) and practice a good posture, so your traps don't show off.

As I said, I don't train them directly or do any sort of deadlifting. They were pretty similar size before lifting, only grown a little.

I am not sure why they are naturally developed like that.

If I'm doing power shrugs to isolate traps (because those seem to be the most widely-accepted exercise for them) how heavy do they need to be? Cause my shrug weight is just a bit heavier than my deadlift weight, but i cant do many reps of much more weight. Is that enough?
