they're literally only able to even be considered in the SHW classes because A: there just plain isn't much competition in the American women's SHW and B: they outweigh the other competitors in the SHW class by 20-60kg
to put in perspective, Tatiana Kashirina is 40kg less than Robles and 60 less than Mangold while outlifting them both by 80+kg

USA weightlifting is desperate for any victory they can get. At Rio, Robles was the first US weightlifter to medal in S I X T E E N Y E A R S

for example a comparable 3rd place medalist from the same olympic games in the 69kg category got only 31kg less total despite weighing literally 74.4kg less than Sarah, Sarah's sinclair score is also 286.47 as compared to the 69's sinclair of 319.7

and she didn't even snatch fucking close to bodyweight while the 69 snatched almost double her bodyweight
