Why is the go-to descriptor of Islam “a religion of peace” when its roots and conception was basically the Prophet Muhammad becoming a warlord and subjugating nearby tribes and towns into the religion through military force and conquest?
I’ve asked Muslims about this before in the most genuine way possible and they take no offense to the question but none of them really had an answer for me.
