By only thinking of what I really want and outright dismissing every concern, idea, person or concept that comes in my way, I feel much more in control of my destiny and social urges. I define everything by how it is of use to me and my overall goals. For me this meant dismissing things like money, status, morality and conventional ideas of what it means to be a good person since all of those things ultimately get in the way of my goals. This could be just as bad as becoming religious if you aren't careful in considering your actions.
