Anyone else interested in reading these? It seems that the material discussed is essential to understanding much of American history and culture. As obsessed about race as this board and Americans in general are I would imagine it would be a talked about work. Beyond that it's important to understand contemporary American culture. These are the books and author that coined the oft meme'd and misunderstood concept of "white skin privlege".
I came across an interesting review on Goodreads to that effect.

Depend what you want to call race. Yes human have physical difference based on geographical location but acting like sharing the same skin color suddently make you an homogeneous group is pretty retarded.

This is true. When you consider there is more genetic variation amongst the population of SSA then the rest of humanity (all descended from the few dozen families who actually left Africa) you realize how retarded the who race meme is.

That being said, every male of every race across the world is more genetically similar to each other than we are to women, which shows that the real sub-humans aren't any race, but is women.

Of course men don't have it has bad as women as far as liberty is concerned, and in this day most patriarchy is ghostly, all the overt rules are gone but sexism is still prevelent.
Regardless, both race-class and patriarchy are ingrained into the system and radical change is nessecary to fix that, but ideaology must be changed before radical change will be excepted. That's why theory is so important for revolution.
Even if revolution (anarchy, fuck off commie bureacrats) happened tommorow sexism and racism would not go anywhere as is. The same can be said about the much more serious problem of ecological injustice and the domination of non human life(not talking about PETA bullshit, I'm talking dams, earthmoving machinery and the way humans treat their home.)
So let me draw another parallel and say that "The worm on the hook surely isn't in the interest of the fish, is it?' definitely holds true for the hedgemony humans hold over the world around them. Granted much of our ecological injustice would disappear if property, state sovereignty and investment did, but the damage as been done and we would be left with a large population of alien consumers scrounging in a collapsing world. So that battle and the battle for change really depend on ideaology, econmics(ideally liberterian socialist imo)and work. As far as civilization goes we literally need to burn the house down and demolish the foundation before we can start over, which is absolutely necessary.
