I somewhat agree with this sentiment but would urge you to consider the fact he almost certainly dealt with depression and other mental health issues which prompted his behavior FAR before he died. In fact, instead I'd suggest the message behind his life to be that this body dysmorphia shit is not a joke, and if you feel yourself getting wrapped up in it to seek help immediately before you end up like Rich and basically need to adopt that YOLO lifestyle to even attain some semblance of happiness.
