I dropped gluten, and I feel better. Less bloated and less sleepy.

Anyone with me?

If in dropping gluten you stopped eating processed sugar and flour, then ya that'll do you good.

You're probably not white.

White people with pure European heritage aren't affected by weak shit like gluten, wheat, milk etc.

I eat gluten, milk, meat etc. In all my meals. I've literally never been bloated.

Bloating is a sign of something else usually btw. My friend used to get bloated eating just about any meal and he was always sleepy and weak and shit. Anyway after literally no joke, 3 years of testing, different doctors etc. They found some bacteria in his stomach that apparently was there for years and after just 2 weeks of treatment they cured him. Now he eats anything and is fine.

Go get some tests done. Nothing should bloat you. You can have bacteria, parasites...literally anything. Get help.

You didn't drop gluten. You went lower carb. And if that works for you, then great.
Also, if you really need to believe that it was gluten all along, then you might be experiencing the placebo effect.

I'm white.
Do you know what symptoms he had?
And how they treated him?

He was often bloated
Almost always had low energy
Slept a lot and would feel like he didn't sleep at all

Basically this bacteria wasn't allowing for proper absorption of vitamins, minerals, calories in general I guess.

He was given antibiotics

Wtf I have the exact same shit, can you ask him what tests they ran to find the results? My doctors keep giving me dumb tests...

good for you. so what do you want from us now, fag?

Dropped gluten and dairy. Feels good man. Gluten can cause digestive irritation in more people than you'd think. Not that it fucks with everyone, but if you find something that works for your body just go with it.

Actually yah. Turns the fuark out that I had gluten allergy. Was sleepy and super bloated. Felt like someone was playing drums on my stomach. Dropped it all out which was incredibly difficult but now I'm full gusto with nice abs and I don't look pregnant. Gluten did me wrong.

Your weak genes did you wrong.
Everyone blames gluten, but they don't blame milk when someone is lactose intolerant, they blame themselves.

That's why I believe it is such a meme. People with actual food allergies blame their bodies, people that cut out gluten say it's gluten's fault, as if they need a scapegoat or a whipping boy that they can push on everyone

I'll ask him. I just know that he saw around 10-15 doctors in 3 years maybe more desu.

Insulin resistance

Thanks man

Gluten free for 15 years here.
In the US most people who have Celiac are of European/White descent. The entire globe shows that it's a middle eastern (not white, but not black) problem.
It's going to bloat you if you have problems with it and in the USA specifically that's one of the more common traits.
That's because of how it's presented and how they treat it on a subjective basis. A peanut allergy is without a doubt presented as a genetic fault. Gulten-free food is something companies use to make food up a price point to make more money so they want to market to everyone. Not to mention, continued exposure to something you're intolerant/allergic to can make the response worsen.
In my experience, most doctors are fucking inept assholes just trying to push drugs on you. If you can figure something out by just avoiding possible causes then do it. Don't waste your money going to a doctor for something he doesn't know about.
What I would recommend to anyone curious about a possible gluten-related illness would be to:
1. Stop eating gluten for about a week. Completely. Don't reduce, avoid. Buy Gluten free starches and eat them as well if you want to be thorough
2. After a week, reintroduce gluten to your diet. Take note of how you feel for the next 2 days.
If you feel worse, stop eating gluten and see if it gets better.
If you feel the same, keep eating gluten and see if it gets worse.

To also note, lactose intolerance increases in severity if you are also gluten intolerant. If you cut out gluten, you may find that you experience less trouble with dairy products.

Any product that contain enriched/unbleached/bleached flour is absolute garbage and should be tossed. If you absolutely need to eat bread then pay the premium and get truly organic bread and check the ingredients not the advertisements on the front.

You probably dont even need to drop gluten you just need to check the ingredients.

>In my experience, most doctors are fucking inept assholes just trying to push drugs

This, I swear to god there is a monopoly in there some where. Especially in Canada, where I think doctors keep sending me to do pointless tests to make some money some how

Yea but don't think it's some kind of conspiracy. People are just becoming increasingly ignorant through their own volition. Doctors won't learn they're diagnosing people incorrectly if nobody tells them they didn't fix the problem. People won't know there's a problem if they'd rather be inept and use "but I went to a doctor" as an excuse.
You probably have yet to understand how profoundly despicable the majority of the population is. Doctors, politicians, lawyers and all walks of life are included in that population. No amount of academically recognized authority will change that.

I don't know if I've ever been bloated. What's it like?

There's a some sort of stigma behind telling doctors that they're wrong, it's really a catch 22

Well, don't be a pussy and do it anyway. Just don't get it into your head that you're any more correct than they are. Express doubt and reject something you have experienced negatively. Nothing will improve if the problem isn't identified.

only celiacs have problems by eating anything that contains gluten

you're just a bitch trying to rationalize your problems on the first thing you found

Well, what if he has that specific condition?
Damn, wouldn't it suck to only act on a negative bias before you actually do anything about a problem?
Seriously though, shut the fuck up and don't make a post like that again.
At least entertain the possibility before shitting on it. Contribute to the thread rather than restating things people say in every thread with a similar topic.

man up kid

Hmmm
You get larger in a matter of hours and then lose this mass, especially around the stomach and chest area
you become puffy but it reverses especially after you sleep

>I stopped eating donuts and I feel better
>must be the gluten

I see you're still not contributing to the thread.

Did he mention what he was eating before? From what I see he said that he only stopped eating gluten. You know gluten free donuts exist too right?

>I see you're still not contributing to the thread.

you can go contribute on reddit, i'm not gonna give you the reason on a retarded topic

you literally stopped eating a lot of carbs, therefore you feel better

The thread starts with a picture of refined flour baked goods

Oops, meant for

a picture of refined backed goods for a thread about gluten immediately means that he stopped eating donuts?

I can't drop mexican breads. they're so fucking good lads. there is like 40 mexican bakeries and I tried them all. this one hole in the wall makes the best one.

Cutting out gluten doesn't mean someone stopped eating carbs....
You're also telling me to go to reddit as you reddit-space and fail to form an argument. Then you're also excusing your poor contribution to the discussion claiming the discussion itself is retarded. This coming from a person assuming that the lack of gluten means an absence of carbs.

Yes, and things like donuts. The vast majority of gluten people eat comes from wheat. The vast majority of wheat people eat is refined. It's not surprising that you would feel better when you don't eat processed breads and pastries. It has nothing to do with gluten.

>and don't make a post like that again
Thank god the internet police is here.

Seriously, kys

I just started baking bread and would be down to try a mexican bread, but i've never heard of them before.

What's a mexican bread you like a lot?

>inb4 flour tortillas

no u

getting you to do pointless tests, in a country where doctors have a salary cap and he could have simply just prescribed you something for a kickback. you know you're retarded right? I'm not saying there aren't pillpushers, but they're not going to send you to specialists and get a bunch of tests done just to do that.

Mexican bread is like a middle ground betweenbread and cake. It's very sweet, sometimes rich, and icing and sprinkles are common

anyone notice how people with coeliac tend to have similar physical features?

because it's a hereditary condition? You trying to imply something that's not already understood about the condition?
OH, are you just trying to subtly shit on people for the genetics so you feel better about yourself?

yeah I looked up some breads. It looks like most are variants of pan dulces? They seem like a more straightforward version of hot cross buns.

I can see why they're delicious though.

in this thread: americucks thinking they know shit about 'bread'

This is the new doctor meme, especially if they're Indian or non white doctors.

They'll do nothing except for bill you until you've completed their seemingly endless tests, and then refer you for something utterly unrelated and invasive failing all else.

This is the current version of the Australian medical system. We've let in so many garbage Indians and Chinese who think they're doctors - they end up paying the relevant agency and being allowed to practice and omg they are the worst health care providers anywhere globally. I've had better care in third world countries.

This is why most people avoid doctors now and simply go to the ED and cause mayhem there.

Yeah.

Fuck all you people shaming others for choosing to not eat gluten.

Personally I don't care if someone doesn't eat gluten, but I do care if you incorrectly attribute some health problem to gluten and make other people cautious about gluten for no reason.
