I fucking absolutely love OP's quote. I used to think life was supposed to be easy and fun. Its not, life is suffering. The sooner you embrace it the better equipped you will be.

Whoops. Not like quoting matters.

And that's all for me.
>tfw most images in your Motivation folder are depressing and sad
I will never break the inherent irony within it.

> A man's potential is unlimited, the reasoning goes. A man can reach any heights in life in any sphere of activity. But in order to defeat his opponents a man must first overcome himself, combat his own fears, his lack of confidence and laziness. The path upwards is one of continual battle with oneself. A man must force himself to rise sooner than the others and go to bed later. He must exclude from his life everything that prevents him from achieving his objective. He must subordinate the whole of his existence to the strictest regime. He must give up taking days off. He must use his time to the best possible advantage and fit in even more than was thought possible. A man aiming for a particular target can succeed only if he uses every minute of his life to the maximum advantage for carrying out his plan.

He hated life so much that he swallowed some pneumonia?

I see this quoted in a shitload of inspirational threads online, but holy shit has this helped me.

Just started trying to lose weight in May and I'm only down 11lbs, but being unemployed makes it hard to do anything. Hopefully I'll have a job before the end of September and I can start going to the gym.

Keep going brah
We're all going to make it

i gotta say, people like you are inspiring.
keep up the good work.

Read this like everyday, but it still hits hard.

Would've been such a good pic without faggy 2011 "legion mask lol" guy

What was it exactly that made you change? How old were you? And what was it like to start with?

Any tips? How do you feel today vs back then?

>What was it exactly that made you change?
Was tired of basically going through life on autopilot after I finished school. Nothing was really good or bad, life was just "eh"...which was fucking gay.

>How old were you?
24

>And what was it like to start with?
The first 8 months or so was hardcore cocoon mode, however I had a pretty healthy social life before. I wouldn't recommend going full cocoon if you are already introverted and socially underdeveloped.

I also pretty much completely gave up lifting in favor of building god tier work capacity. I achieved the recommended US army rangers PT scores within roughly 3 months and when I went back to lifting I was literally breaking PRs everyday and working out for 90 minutes 5 days a week without feeling completely drained. I'd recommend this to virtually everyone.

>Any tips?
- Buy a planner and schedule your entire day in 30 minute increments.
- Exercise everyday...if you buy into "overtraining" you're literally a pussy. There's no reason why you can't do some stretching, mobility work, isometric work, and run 6 miles on a sunday when your legs and traps are sore. Just recover correctly and be smart about your training.
- Fix your fucking diet. Everyone knows what they should be eating and yet people still try to shortcut it with crap like keto, paleo, IF, vegetarian/veganism, IIFYM and other fad diets...Go get a couple of graduate school level nutrition text books and start learning. Also, get a crock pot.
- Pursue hobbies that involve leaving your house.
- Realize that if you're lonely you have only yourself to blame

>How do you feel today vs back then?

Get on my level, losers.

This is really good.

>- Pursue hobbies that involve leaving your house.
Like?

This is why I can't watch rekt threads or gore threads or murder threads or anything with general assholery.

If I begin to see that as normal and right and dissasociate myself from seeing it as abhorent and evil and something to stop.

Then I'll become the kind of man I've hated since I was a kid. I've already begun to overcome the subtle misogynist programming that's happened from staying on Veeky Forums for so long and I've even been able to see the manipulative media and slanted academia that's pushed towards me.

Someone please remake that with a more fitting font

Can you post your mobility routine?

I was thinking about this as well, probably the only future for the white race is to invest in genetics and have some sort of "Gene therapy" put it in vaccines and this forces the next generations as 100% Aryan or (Insert top tier genetic variation here).

Im getting a tattoo of this on my chest because of these threads

We read about that landing in latin class, it pumped me really badly.

>Having been tracked all the way along the coast by the British cavalry and chariots, the landing was opposed. To make matters worse, the loaded Roman ships were too low in the water to go close inshore and the troops had to disembark in deep water, all the while attacked by the enemy from the shallows. The troops were reluctant, but according to Caesar's account were led by the aquilifer (standard bearer) of the 10th legion who jumped in first as an example, shouting:

"Leap, fellow soldiers, unless you wish to betray your eagle to the enemy. I, for my part, will perform my duty to the republic and to my general."

Nice.

Also, fucking badass gif.

Achilles-gifs are /fitlit/ af.

Yea, but I personally like Hector more. Achilles was born strong, Hector had to work for it.
