The various goverments of Europe don't impose laws and rules over what native Europeans are allowed to do. You could argue that certain restrictions of speech (which I despise, the state should have so say over what you say) are an imposition but a lot of those have also impacted immigrant groups. A lot of Muslims in Europe have found themselves on the wrong side of the law in regards to hate speech laws.
