How can you explain this picture anons?? Its from the Pyramid of Menkaure, check out the blocks with the distinct pegs that are widely found in Peru.
There has to be a connection, ill post more pics.
ARCHAEOLOGISTS ON SUICIDE WATCH!!
Bump for interest. Don't care if there's no real connection.
Peru
Another one from the pyramid of menkaure this one has better quality.
Cmon guys this shit is freaky.
But why do they have those ridges sticking out, what was the purpose
Thats part of the mystery user, academics cant come up with a good theory about it. Some say it was to tie ropes around and place the blocks.
Alright cool lets say it is so, but anyways how do you explain such a distinct and weird way of building blocks? There had to be contact between these people or they had the same source of knowledge.
>everything we know is a lie because dots
Sober up. You're chasing a biochemical reaction in your brain that creates excitement and enthusiasm when unexpected and sexy facts are discovered.
OH MY GOD! IT MUST HAVE BEEN ALIENS!!!!
I men why would there be nobs on a stone? And don't come up with a simple, logical solution like "similar stone working techniques show similar results on both sides of the Atlantic"!
>answering your own mystery
>"but no way cause, nuh uh"
Dude it's not shocking that people figured out how to put onobs on rocks so they don't get heir fingers squished
Still cool though
This, OP is developing a stone fetishism
>There had to be contact between these people or they had the same source of knowledge.
No. Apparently there is only so many ways to cut stone with primitive tools, and apparently they figured it out quickly themselves.
I love it
user you have to admit this is solid evidence of possible ancient trans atlantic contact. These arent some fucking mud hut niggers. These are two of the most advanced ancient civilizations.
Also:
>cocaine mummies
>user you have to admit this is solid evidence of possible ancient trans atlantic contact.
No I don't, primitive people have the same problem and they come up with a technically similar solution. It's like saying because you find mud bricks both in Egypt and Mexico there must have been transatlantic contact. Completely stupid, but you would do it.
It’s just a similar techincal solution they were used in bronze age Sardinia too
OMG, IT MUST HAVE BEEN TRANSATLANTIC CONTACTS, MAYBE EVE ALIENS, REMEMBER THE COCAINE MUMMIES!!!!!
You literally answered your on question in your post you fucking turbo-brainlet
>extremely precise "cut" stone
>no mortar
>irregular and meticulous shapes that are impractically time consuming if official theory is followed.
>distinct peg features with no practical explanation
>unequal mastery of the medium
>nothing similar found anywhere else
>12,000kms apart
The absolute state of mental conditioning
No mortar cut stone buildings are common all over the world, holding knobs on stones for ropes is also common everywhere.
Now fuck off back to
Post pics of similar blocks, Sardinia has some great ancient megaliths.
I don't like stones but I do have a thing for tiles.
Fuck, is it you tilesexual? You're still alive?
>Stacking stones on top of one another shows alien contact
Gratz op you're the smartest human alive
Those were cement slurry that were poured in bags and stacked; that's why they fit together so well. Can't remember what the little feet were for, but probably stability.
It's like the word Pangaea never crossed your eyes.
>holding knobs for ropes
Look at pic
So why the fuck the smaller stones have them sometimes and the bigger ones dont? That theory makes no fucking sense you brainlet.
>Pangaea
A supercontinent from over 150 million years ago? Good argument user! COCAINE MUMMIES FOR EVERYONE!!!!!!
>muh Aliens built it
Kys Giorgio
All rocks had it, seems they were broken on purpose after placing the rocks in their positions.
Fuck OP, your right, after the Assyrians took Egypt they went on a UFO, waited like 1500 years then landed in Peru to form the Inca.
Cool stuff. The Nuraghis in Sardinia are really interesting too, and very ancient.
Some kind of remind me of Inca masonry
Have to admit they had some killer style
How many different ways do you think there are to tie a rope to a stone securely?
>no practical explanation
Apart from that perfectly practical explanation you yourself provided...
>There has to be a connection, ill post more pics.
Architects who travelled around.
Solved.
150 million years ago on a 6,000 year old planet?
Wow, you're worse off than I even imagined.
Did anyone think they added knobs was for artistic reason? Did the architect think “I want knobs here” when making the blueprint?
Is that the megalithic version of the korova milk bar?
Couldnt they add something more aesthetically pleasing? It seems they left the walls bare like that and didnt decorate them.
I strongly suspect they molded the stone with some ancient lost technique.
With the discovery of metals and their uses they probably lost interest in the old techniques and the quality of the stone work declined because of the central role metals took in society/economy.
Kind of like all the cheap garbage we make now with plastics.
The knobs were to help with lifting. The original size of the knobs would have been a bit larger. Once the stone was in place they trimmed them down where necessary
Exactly this, they're like giant legos
There was also a mummy with traces of cocaine in it.
It seems reasonable to assume there was some sort of trans-Atlantic contact between the Egyptians and the South American civilizations.
The explanation is very simple you fucking retard. All these areas are prone to Earthquakes. The irregular shape of the blocks makes them resistant to powerful ground quakes.
In engineering this is called "convergent evolution" - Similar solutions to similar problems.
>It seems reasonable to assume there was some sort of trans-Atlantic contact
Or the Egyptians had opioids
Which we know they did, as did almost every other major civilization they actually were in contact with who didn't live on the other side of the fucking planet
Cocaine isn't an opiod.
hehehehehehe
Yeah look at the picture bro, why would they need rope to place that tiny block?
The idea that nobs were used like that makes no fucking sense at all.
That tiny block probably weighs a good 60+ lbs, and it looks like they raised it about 5-6 feet into the air. Not impossible for someone to do by hand by any margin, but much easier with a rope team.
Thanks for completely missing the point you weeb idiot. We are discussing if there was a relation between the two ancient cultures given the architectural similarities.
I was addressing the point, fucktard.
Read my post again and use that pea brain of yours.
This. Remember at the time, their average caloric intake per day was probably much lower. Any effort saved was likely worth it. No calorie wasted.
>goalpost moving
By a bizarre coincidence, the jerkoffs who excavated the mummy also had traces of cocaine in them.
Let them. Nothing wrong with finding this interesting. Also your post sounds like something Rick would say. If that was your intention then there's no real problem he merely want to entertain himself until his death like everyone.
>yfw even fucking plebbitt is smarter than you faggots
reddit.com
rock nipples
Why are you quoting me, retard?
That link doesn't contradict what I said
The structures were covered with gold. The bumps in Cusco follow patterns that seem to be animal shapes.
>relation
No such thing. Both were isolated from each other.
