Maybe some? Less than 0.01%
Yes.
Queen Victoria
Unless Dr. Who visits and turns half the population black.
Yes of course. I'd say they've been here since at least the end of the crusades when some were brought back as captives.
Did you know the term 'Gypsy' comes from Victorian Britain? They were originally Egyptians (perhaps some may have also been muslim, considering that fact) and called such, but as time went on and people were wont to abbreviate back then as they are now, it eventually evolved into 'Gypsies'.
Sure, Britain was a globe spanning Empire and there are certain to have been some Muslims operating businesses in London. You'd be unlikely to actually meet one unless you sought them out, tho.
>The Shah Jahan Mosque (also known as Woking Mosque) in Oriental Road, Woking, England, is the first purpose-built mosque in the United Kingdom. Built in 1889, it is located 30 miles (50 km) southwest of London. It is a Grade I listed building.[1]

>some were brought back as captives.
Why the FUCK would you bring captive enemy soldiers to your homeland? Do you have any evidence, whatsoever, that even a single one was brought to Britain as a captive after the Crusades? Frederick Barbarossa had a Muslim dwarf adviser / entertainer, but I'm pretty sure he was just a hireling, not a captive.
I see an english lesson is in order:
"I'd say"= speculation.
>asking me to 'prove' a speculation...
>has never heard of slaves
Well there are records of black people in Henry the 8th's time so... probably
I asked you to defend your speculation, and asked if you had evidence for it, and you react like I'm unfairly dragging you over the coals? Fuck you, retard, if you seriously put zero thought into your cretinous opinions then spare us the irritation of having to read them.
You know European women also wore/wear headscarves?
Nice taqiyya, Ahmed
why are you so angry about this?
I don't have to be angry to call someone a retard my friend. I'm a really hateful prick, I've got plenty of venom to go around.
Yes, England had some muslims in their colonies back then...
>History's a whitewash
This
There was a community of Indian sailors, some were probably Muslim.
These guys
Piss off he's right, most old ladies still do. It isn't a religious thing though.
Yes, the first curry house was opened by Sajid Muhammad Khan in Manchester in 1642
That's Lord Sajid Muhammad Khan Esq. to you, knave
it was merely THOUGHT that gypsies originated from egypt. we know today that they came from india
No, they come from Romania
>Frederick Barbarossa had a Muslim dwarf adviser / entertainer
Tell me more
>being surprised that there were Muslims in a country that controlled India, Pakistan, and Egypt
Of course
Besides any possible immigrants or soldiers brought over from the colonies, there was an Ottoman embassy
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
SICK of LIBTARDS and their LIES
There were a bunch. Not a population, of course, but there were a lot of Muslims who were subjects of the British crown, it wouldn't be too out there for some wealthy merchants and diplomats to have homes in Britain, or even poor Muslim sailors around the dicks in London.
Hell Pakistan got its name from a Muslim student club in Cambridge.
Wealthy princes and other worthies, commoners sometimes too, subject to the crown would send their sons to be educated in England,
Gandhi, while not a Muslim, was educated there
Not in any significant amount. Maybe some foreign merchants, aristocrats, diplomats, etc. And /perhaps/ some muslim sepoys, although they were mostly stationed throughout Africa and Asia.
For all intents and purposes though, Victorian Britain was homogeneously white and Christian/atheist. Significant foreign populations only began entering Britain after WWII.
>Were there Muslims in Victorian England?
Of course there were. By that time there were probably a few Muslims just about everywhere.
If you dig deep, you'll find plenty of people in unexpected places. For instance, there was an established Jewish community in India 2,000 years ago, mainly made up of refugees from one of the Jew-Roman wars who fled after they got stomped on.
I don't think most people appreciate how interconnected the world actually was back then, at least for the few that made the effort and took the risk.
I'd say it's because you're a retard
That's hilarious it was built by a jew.
