They do, a lot. Most threads are in fact.
And somewhat on this topic: modern architecture is genuinely, almost objectively ugly. It's one of the few things /pol/ is 100% right about: the emphasis on utilitarian structure erases all sense of culture or identity, and feels soul-sucking to be surrounded by 24/7 because it lacks any kind of beauty or artistry. And the rise of avant-garde "postmodernist" architecture being basically just ugly Bauhaus-flavored modernist architecture with random bellends hanging off at random angles is only making it worse by being ironically ugly on purpose because I was just pretending to be retarded.
Pic related is from poo-land and built in 2005. The west could learn a thing or two about building new structures that retain classical sensibility from the Indians. If they can do it there's no feasible reason we can't.

In the US? They are, but this depends on the state. California passed zoning laws which basically ensure new homes can't be built, so the housing market becomes scarce as fuck and housing costs become unfathomably high. California is a huge shithole.
