Would Veeky Forums be able to do Navy seals minimum standard?

10 pull ups in 2 minutes? shit no

So far my runs at a 9:55.

I can do the swim breaststroke at that time but my CSS sucks dick.

Pushups and situps, no problem.

Pulls are at about a 7/10.

keep in mind these are minimum standards
anyone with a moderate cardio base can easily do all of those right now except maybe the swim

FYI

those are all in one set, you just get 2 min for the set.

This is like British army minimum standards

easy

I don't swim (it doesn't mean I cannot), but I was able to do 35 pushups and 8 pullups in one set, so I should be able to get those two. I have no fucking idea how much a mile is, but my best time for 1km is 2:59 and best for 5km is 22-something. I could also do 47 curl ups in 60 seconds, so I guess - yes, I should be able to do the minimum.

I could do everything except the swimming fairly easily.

I'm a terrible swimmer

Do you have to swim in shoes and shorts? That would be shite.

Kekd

easy but these minimums wont get you into unit you need like 20pullups and 100 pushups/situps also better times

10 pullups in 2 minutes? Kappa

Is this all meant to be done following each excercise?

Are pullups missing a 0 ?

20 laps of a pool? Seems bretty easy

50 pushups 2min ezpz
50 curl ups 2min ezpz
10 Pullups, I'd do that shit in 30 seconds

1.5 mile run 10.5min and 500 yard swim in 12.5min is pretty hard though. I've never done cardio.

Yeah, no.

You thinking you are going to do 50 push up's in 120 seconds, but you're wrong - because you just did 50 chin ups, 10 pull ups, and swam 500 yards. You'll hit your first 30 push up's fast, get burnt, and fail within the next 10. Have fun on the drive home.

Lol is this the actual navy seal requirement?
I was only a medic in our compulsatory army and we had those too
Easy as fuck

I was literally able to do all this by the time I was in highschool.
2mi run personal record: 9m54s
pull ups record: 29 pullups in one go so like a minute.
sit ups: lmfao i put a 45 plate on my chest and do inclined full situps 25 reps
push ups: idk i don't do push ups anymore but i can bench 250lbs 1rep. used to have to do push ups for nordic skiing though but i think i was only able to do 45 back then per set
swimming: again LMFAO i used to swim across my lake and back which was 3 miles there and back and i would do it in about 90 minutes.

if you can't do 10 pullups in 10 seconds
do more pullups

You're a 150lbs dyel, doing pullups/push ups is nothing when you're pulling/pushing woman weight.

Pretty sure I could do them all in one go with no recovery between.

The run would be a warm up.
Then do the pullups, curl, push
Finish with the swim

EZPZ

They need to up the standards. I think the french lads have reasonably stuff standards

>no pic attached

Fake news, this is the min to qual for pre selection pre training. I know guys who went to buds. 20-30 pull-ups is the absolute minimium same with a 12 min 2 mile. And 100 push ups and 100 sit-ups in the 2 min.

45 years old, 6'1", 205lbs, 14% bf

>500yd swim
Should be quite easy considering what I can do on the others
>50 pushups
I do multiple sets of 20-30 for fun throughout the day. 60 is easy
>50 situps
Probably takes me about 80-90s
>10 pullups
I could do that in a minute with an extra plate or two
>1.5 mile run
I'd have to train a few weeks for that. Did a 5k a few months back bc of work. Finished in 24 minutes with no previous cardio training, just high density powerlifting. So a 7 minute mile should be achievable at my age

No one would pass if you add
>had sex

you look like a fucking gremlin amd dress like a 12 year old, just stop

You will never do breaststroke in BUDs

220lb 25% BF fat fuck here.

I can legit do that.

Everything but the run i can do. I wish i was vetter at running

You swim in shorts and bare feet

>no pic attached

I can do everything but the push ups, they're the bane of my existence. I'm at 42 which is just over the bare minimum for my country's SF but I want to get to 55. How to do this?

Is this really navy seals? Looks more like the basic enlisted requirements minus the pull ups

This is the absolute minimum. If you score this they'll "consider" you but you won't get into selection let alone BUD/S

Selection is who they actually choose from completing buds? Or does everyone who finishes buds become a seal?

Basically
>people who qualify take PST
>if you hit the minimums you are considered for earning a contract
>they take the best to fill quotas, rarely people far under optimums get chosen which is about:
>9:00
>80
>85
>20
>8:30
More or less

do pushups until fail

then continue your life for a few hours

then do pushups until fail

repeat.

Within a couple weeks you'll be over 75 easily

The swimming and running is what would kill me.

..curl..up?

i knew someone else other than me called them 'curl ups'
goddamnit
