Health-related, need help

>sister has multiple sclerosis
>gets some Slav-tier treatment
>still gets worse
>gets to the point where she can barely do anything by herself
>gets prescribed meds that basically turn her into a retard
>got to the point where bedsores start to appear on her ass
What do? Is there any ACTUAL fucking treatment with a high success rate? Or at least something that stops this shit? My parents are crying all week straight, I want this shit to stop.

I don't think Veeky Forums can help you bro, I'm really sorry.

I know, but I will take any tiny chance of getting information about some treatment that will guarantee results.

>brother went blind last year

There are some things Veeky Forums can fix.

I'm really sorry man. For preventing chair wounds make sure that her under wear and cover on the chair is straight and smooth.
I heard that some steroids are really helping ms patiants

There is no cure, treatment is to prevent symptoms from getting worse. Where do you live?

>steroids
Heard about it, but isn't it dangerous?

Poland.

that sounds rough bud I'm really sorry. I know I'm just another faceless user but my heart goes out to you.

Man, you're asking Veeky Forums, what the fuck do we know about a cure for MS?

The only answer you can get is: oats and squats.

Best of luck to you all.

AIDS patients get test depo.

it helps.

Yeah they are. So a doctor who knows what he is doing must see the patient. This is all I know.

İf something chamges something good happens post here ok bud?

>fucked up autoimmune shit
>not genetic

I wonder if it has anything to do with vaccines.
I'm sorry about your sister, user. I hope her suffering slows down or eases.

There's no real answer. Perhaps looks into diet.

>Poland.

When it's gotten worse, did you take her to a neurologist? Has she already been treated with interferone etc?

Who the fuck cares if its dangerous? Quality of life is super important.
Find a pallative care doctor who will get what she needs. If your senpai move to a place where medical MJ and test is legal and this is within your means, move.
If not, do it illegally and just let her doctor know about doses and stuff--should be confidential as long as you arn't in Asia or some other shithole. MD can give her legal pain meds while you give additional stuff to maintain functioning.

Thanks man. It's really tough, anyone sharing their energy with us is a sweetheart.

We're desperate. I'm desperate.
Our neurologist is a cunt as well, intentionally prescribing her meds that turn her dumb, so yeah... it doesn't help the issue at all.

I will talk with everyone about the steroids, then. Serious shit, though, because she's in an awful state and I fear that anything wrong will turn her paralyzed.

I will post if anything happens.

We talked to a lot of doctors, and all of them say that literally ANYTHING could trigger multiple sclerosis. If I remember well, one of them said that most of us have the genes for it in us, like it is with HPV or cancer, but everyone has different trigger conditions.
Well, my sister partied a lot, so maybe she took some shady drug once and shit hit the fan?

Yes. Interferone did not help at all.
Our current neurologist is a cunt, he does not care at all for her and just send us off as soon as possible when we have our visits.

Sounds promising. And in our country steroids aren't a problem, certainly not the medical ones.
Maybe steroids are really our last chance. I dunno.

My mom had an inflatable mattress overlay which helped a lot with the bedsores. Make sure you keep them clean and apply creams that help keep things nice and dry

Here. Get one of these

uh why do you know bedsores are on her ass? are you changing your retarded sister's diapies? lmao nigga

Shut your mouth faggot. What are you, 12? Get out

Thanks man, we will try an inflatable mattress. And we're already using antibiotic creams, so hopefully the bedsores won't develop into anything serious.

She can't do it herself, and nobody is going to leave her in shit-filled diapers.

Im going to post this on Reddit :)

How do you get MS? Is it a genetic diseases?

lmao you really do change your retarded sister's diapies what do retard shits smell like. youre sister is never going to get better lmao have fun changing those diapies when she is 30 and spends all day staring at the wall

Neurologists say that it isn't genetic. It's pretty much a mystery, and supposedly most people have predispositions towards it, but it doesn't activate. Like HPV, to make it simple.

why are newfags always trying to be "le edgy 4channer"

IIRC, in this case its anabolic steroids and not cortico steroids. Demylelinated nerves fire less effectively to the muscles. Testosterone may directly increase muscle mass (improve firing of what signals DO get to the muscles) and have certain anti-inflammatory and psychological benefits.

Name of the game in pain management is *not minding the pain*. e.g., combo of ibuprofen (for muscle inflammation), weed(mild hallucingienic properties), and a video game (cognitive distraction) can be a better pain reducer than heroin. MS is complex because you need muscular and neural pain regulation.

Please lad, stop. If you want to shitpost about the diseased, go to r9k or somewhere else.

im going to post this on Reddit :)

I feel for you brah, your loss is our loss.

I don't believe in the gods but I will prayer for her health

>mfw OP's sister is never going to get better and will only get worse

>weed
My friend with MS says weed/derivatives are the only thing that really provide any relief. Not necessarily a cure, but certainly can help quality of life.

Euthanise her. I'm serious. I'd like that for myself given the case

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

Did he become addicted to it? Does he feel like shit whenever the high wears off? Does he ignore the pain and move better on weed?

It's not at this point yet, but she has those times where she tells us that she'd want a gun and shoot herself to make everything go away.

Convince her.Spend quality time with her.T ranquilize her, make her feel good. And slowly she will give in. I wouldn"'t want to remember a loved one suffering till their very end.

Also, I think my mother's heart would pop if she had to decide that.
Like what the fuck, kids are supposed to outlive you, yet here you are, deciding whether or not to kill your child. I don't cry, but that shit makes me feel a void in my chest.

She's "medicated" pretty frequently (every day I think) but seems to think that it's helped slow the progression of the disease. Not sure that it makes her feel like shit after it's worn off -- she seems to have good days and bad, regardless. She owns a bar in a very large American city with her husband and is still able to bartend a few nights a week, despite getting into her 50s and definitely helps with movement and pain.

It will all be over soon for all of us. Don't feel bad.

Okay lads, I'm going to sleep.
Feel free to post anything, I will read everything when I wake up.
I will post a new thread sometime soon if we decide anything.

>Forgot the addicted question.
No, not really. Despite what people say, weed isn't physically addicting, there are no withdrawal symptoms, etc. Some people might struggle with it, but I suspect for them it's more of a mental crutch.

Not this user but the only concern with addiction is when there are physical problems that result from withdrawal. Someone could be on hash oil for life with almost no longterm physical side effects.

Traditional opiates cause really nasty side effects like constipation and fatal withdrawal symptoms in some people. Even high dose ibuprofen can cause organ problems when taken long enough.

The amount of weed needed to cause toxicity is just huge...like you'd need to smoke hundreds of joints all day.
It can cause memory problems and result in poor coordination but these are relatively minor and only apply to psychoactive cannabis and not all cannaboids.

There are too many stories of people halting or reversing MS and fibromyalgia with keto/paleo for you to ignore. I highly suggest you do some research and see about implementing it for your sister.
Good luck, we're all gonna make it

This op. At the very least she'll get shredded fuark

>multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/2014/06/16/can-low-carb-high-fat-ketogenic-diets-improve-ms-neurological-disease-symptoms/
I remember hearing her tell her stry on a Bulletproof podcast last year. Good stuff.

I don't know the exact science of MS, and I'm too tired to get into it. But do the research for yourself. Keto for other neurological conditions is not a meme. So maybe for MS too? Again, you need to research the underlying biochemistry, the mechanisms. Will keto bypasses the block/error?

There's a rare muscle disease. They can't use muscle glycogen. Keto is recommended by some, because fat burning bypasses the block and supplies energy from a different place.

Same idea for how it works for epileptics.
Some even say Alzheimers/Dementia is diabetes of the brain. The brain isn't utilising glucose properly. That;s why the brains are shutting down. Keto, fat, bypasses the hurdle and brings everything back online.

Research if it could work for MS. Good luck.

Weed is a gateway drug to creatine

golem get ye back to /b/

Do you give her Vitamin D?

Weed. Might as well try it.
Saying a prayer for y'all right now.

This op, you might also want to consider a raw organic paleo diet (raw milk, raw meat, raw butter, raw eggs).

Sent a prayer for your sister and the family, user. Look into any kinds of treatments and get in contact with hospitals and specialists on the subject, make phone calls, start GoFund me campaigns.
I'm not sure what kinds of prognosis comes with MS, but anything is possible.
Keep your chin up, and remember to follow God in these times.
