doesnt happen im afraid. Lift between 9am-12pm for quietest time, or fork out for snap fitness in town and make the hour round journey there and back. Next year will be better fampai

the uni sports centre is a fucking amazing gym mate, don't be scared. everyone lifts in harmony, from asian dyels to the powerlifting club. also, the staff is nice and know what they're talking about, don't be afraid to ask them for advice

Usually £18 a month but they have a £100 for 8 months student offer, so it's ridiculously cheap

What barbells and equipment do they have? Like lifting platfoms and power cages etc. I've never heard of a gym so cheap.

their free weights area is kinda lacking, plus it gets pretty busy at peak times, so I'd recommend avoiding 6pm on weekdays etc.

2 squat racks, enough dumbells, like 6-7 benches to use on 3-4 "bench press racks" I guess you'd call them, way more than enough treadmills/ellipticals, and basically every machine. I generally don't find myself waiting to use anything unless I go at a peak time, and for the price I'd say that's a decent trade-off.

If you go on google maps there's a decent amount of pictures, plus a graph of the busiest times and live busyness, assuming you didn't already know

I went to Bangor before I started master's at uni of Sheffield and holy fuck Bangor's gym was the shit. Elieko barbells and calibrated plates for all the Weightlifting wales and team gb guys who train there, miss it desu, sport Sheffield is shit and I'm considering trying hallam's gym
