I need to test my 1rm today for next cycle but i feel tweaked my back 2 days ago doing squats and it still feels off

What should i do? I feel if i go for a 1rm on deadlift i will snap my shit up worse, but i need new numbers for the next cycle

yeah I struggle with injuries too but thats just part of it

keep trying different things and ask for advice on plg. 95% of advice will be shit but some of it will be actually good. theres always a workaround with every injury that will even speed up your rehab

last week I whined about my years of struggle with shoulder impingement rehab and people recced me to do reverse grip bench

so I actually tried it out and first time I did reverse grip I could lift for more reps and higher weight than regular bench and my shoulders felt great afterwards. only wrists hurt a bit in spite of wraps. so thanks for the help, I appreciate it!

So one session would jump by 1kg, the next by 1.5kg

It's better and safer especially for higher volume. Also if you only bench wide you will end up like isley and bench 140kgs after 10 years. Do your close grip benches.

my bench stalled until I started training my triceps

0.5kg plates, 1.25kg plates, 2.5kg plates

eg.
session1. bench 80kg
session2. bench 81kg (+2x0.5)
session3. bench 82.5kg (+2x1.25)
session4. bench 83.5kg etc

So the difference session to session will alternate between 1kg differences and 1.5kg differences. Not sure if this actually makes a difference for bench/press but my autism is telling me to make 0.625kg from some chain.
