That's the wrong question. The real question is even if it does positively or negatively effect gains is the difference more significant than other factors? Inadequate sleep, poor nutrition, stress, illness, exposure to endocrine disruptors are all bigger factors. If you aren't nailing those things not cumming isn't going to help.
For the record cumming and sex are physiologically different. Sex releases far greater amounts of oxytocin which is a hormone released to form social bonds. Your subconscious does knows more and decides more than you give it credit for, it releases adrenaline before your conscious brain even knows it's in danger, it remembers to breathe all day even while your conscious brain is asleep and it knows the difference between another human's touch and your own.

The whole point of nofap is to get a gf, so if you have a gf you're good already. When you're a chronic masturbator like most of Veeky Forums is, your perception of reality gets kinda screwed up. Last time I did nofap I started thinking girls were far more attractive than I did before, I had erections ALL the time, and I wanted to fuck everything that even remotely looked feminine.
