How much is 1pl8 anyway?

How much is 1pl8 anyway?

not sure if meme or something.

it's 135

1p8 is 90lbs dummy.

Each plate is 45lbs, 1pl8 = two on each side of the bar, 45 × 2 = 90lbs

Again, not sure if meme. But you include the weight of the bar, so 45x3. If it's a meme or something to not count the bar then fuck me, but that's retarded.

it depends on how heavy the plate is, retard

HaHa. Memes. Amirite guys?

Jesus Christ, has anyone on this board even been to a Gym? A plate is 45 lbs, unless otherwise specified.

>If it's a meme or something to not count the bar then fuck me, but that's retarded.

I bet you dont deduct weight for the grooves cut out of the knurling either

>”yeah guys I deadlift 6pl8”
>has 3pl8 on

>Counting the bar
Haha holy crap. Do you count your body weight too? Dyels, when will they learn.

1pl8 is literally 1 plate, which is 45 lbs

See

Why would you only put on 1 pl8 that makes no sense idiot it would be off balance. You have to start off with 2pl8 which equals 90lbs because 45*2 and then add another 90 for the bar which is around 180 lbs.

I'm in the UK and do everything in kg , is this basically 20kg on each side of the bar?

No, it’s 20kg plus the bar

but the bar weighs 180 by itself

180cm, not lbs

if I have a 25kg plate is it a 1 plate?

>The bar at my gym weighs 200watts.
Silly Europoors using the metric system.

1pl8 is 45lbs which is 20-20.4kg depending on where you live.

however they're counted per side, so if you bench 1pl8 you actually bench 90lbs, 2pl8 180lbs and so on plus the 20kg barbell

What kind of dumbass math is this?

>1=2
>2=4

pl8s imply a pair. Example: Shoes.

But that’s wrong.

In America we use liters

>Actually believing some meme on an Mongolian basket weaving forum.
There is no such thing as 1pl8, you can do 2pl8 90lbs minus bar, 4 pl8, 180lbs minus bar etc

One plate is 45 pounds minus the hole in the middle, usually about .5 pounds. So a plate is 44.5 pounds. You don’t lift.

>Veeky Forums the thread

That's wrong, the bar is 20kg - 1pl8 is 40kg.

>counting the bar

lmao this nigga thinks anything but pl8s actually count for weight
i bet he still thinks he's actually lifting any weight when he does pull ups

By your logic, in order to lift an odd number of plates you have to lift one side with no weight on the other

This

>using a bar

Yes? Are you retarded?

Does 1pl8 bench mean the total of 10kg on each side, or 20kg on each side?
I always thought 1 plate bench meant 20kg each side.

20kg on each side.

No, you are.

"Plates" is really "plates per side."

Seriously. Stop being a meme-tier retard and go back to huffing whey vapor.

this is why 1/2/3/4 is considered a milestone. 2pl8 bench and 4pl8 deadlift are easy but 3pl8 squat and especially 1pl8 ohp are very difficult to do given how off balance the bar is

yea but the hole is filled in by the bar which makes up the weight

>mfw I cheat and stand 1/3 closer to the heavier side

ITT: trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls

>include the weight of the bar
should we tell him?
