Try and do other supplementary exercises - I STARTED BENCHING and my pushups doubled from 20 to 40 on a good day(BUT TYPICALLY 35).
It's either good or great, depending on your height, weight, and body fat percentage. 50 is good if you're a skelly, and great if you have some mass.
if i already bench press, does random pushups help me in any way?

I'm slowly gaining it back though, when I first started I was barely 100 lbs
I like pushups because I can drop and do them anytime, anywhere.

If you want to increase pushups do different kinds of pushups and also do pullups. If you play vidya i suggest doing like 10 each round.
