Nah not really I drink like 2 liters of water before bed to avoid bad hangovers but I usually wake up still hammered,I'm drunk for like the first 2 hours of work in the morning lol

I work at 4 am so I usually get to bed around 11 pm and wake up at 2 30 am

Work is pretty variable schedule so sometimes I'll be in bed by 10:30, sometimes midnight.

I get up around 5a.m. every day because I've got a long commute. I try to be in bed by 9, but ends up being around 10:30 most nights. I set both my phone and desk alarms to quarter-till-five, and set them on opposite sides of my bed. I'll hit the snooze button once before I get up. Best technique to fall asleep is to work yourself tired during the day. I used to think I was an edgy insomniac a few years ago, really I was just a NEET.

Also helps to have a cat that knows it's getting treats when you wake up. Little shit starts playing with my face right before my alarms go off

Wake up at 6 - 7am
Get out of bed by 9am at the latest
Get in bed by 11pm
Be trying to go to sleep by 11:30

I also take SUBLINGUAL melatonin, the oral tablets dont work as well or as fast. I still get insomnia (up for about 36 - 48 hours straight) about once a month but it's a lot better. I have noticed I get sleep deprivation visuals earlier on, but who knows why

HOW THE FUCK DO I GET MYSELF TO GO TO SLEEP!?!?!?!?? It's 5:20pm here and I'm gonna try getting to sleep by 8:00pm but how do I go about it? What do I do to prepare? I've been lacking sleep so much because my body doesn't want to rest. I've removed technology (phones, computer) two hours before sleeping. I've turned all the lights off. I've gotten cozy. Then my body still won't sleep. I finally slept at three last night when I needed to get up at ten the next day (I'm nineteen). It hasn't been good for previous days either.

What do I do? What exercises should I do? Should I take a shower? WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?

Its fucked up but I cant fprce myself to go to sleep earlier, or not to stay up lat and wake up earlier to do stuff.

Why is it so hard to wake up? I can stay up or skip sleeping 1 night but I cant force myself to wake up earlier than neccessary and when I do I feel like Im half dead for the rest of the day and cant do shit

Don't sleep for a day (pick a day you don't have to do anything), then the next day go to sleep early.

So you only have trouble sleeping on weekends? Is your sleep cycle different from a normal workday?

My job is harder than any gym workout I can imagine considering people don't workout for 12 hours each session 6 days a week

Lower your anxiety. Meditation, keep your mind occupied in other things that aren't your thoughts, read out loud a lot, cardio.

On weekends I sleep like 6 hours a day and workdays I sleep for almost 12 hours because I'm so exhausted after work that I literally can't keep my eyes open
