Nope. As soon as you manage to lift a weight 5 reps 5 sets you increase the weight minimally. Next workout you do for example 5-5-4-4-3, again next workout maybe 5-5-5-4-4 and so on, until you reached 5-5-5-5-5 and increase again.

Read up on Texas Method.

1 volume day 5x5 with 90% of 5RM. 1 light day 2x5 with 80% of 5RM. 1 Heavy day 1x5 with a heavier PR each week.

5x5 is only to give you a solid basis of strength so you can go to intermediate routines. You only do it for 6-12 months, tops
