156 lbs, 6.0 ft
This is roughly a one year progress. Doing my first winter bulk, last year I wasn’t too serious. Trying to get that 2 plate bench

1 year and no 2pl8? I just hit it after 5 months. What are your other lifts?

Haven't lifted in ages, just did push-ups and planks today which was my first upper body workout in ages(just been running). I've been gone from Veeky Forums for months. Dropped out of uni, got my first GF, about to lose her it seems, got a job as a carpenter. Life is trash lads.

I don't have more weight so i can see go higher for dead and squat. Picking up some tomorrow hopefully.

For back days I do 5x5 deads at 180 and then a few sets of 190 for triples or doubles. Then I go to weighted pullups to failure for three sets. After that l do what i think I need, normally rows or lat pull downs.

Chest and shoulders I do 5x5 regular bench. 3 sets of a super set which is seated shoulder press 12-15 reps, incline db press 12-15, and then flys 8-12. Maybe I'll finish with 100-200 push ups if I want a nice pump.

Leg day:

I do cardio a lot, and workout with the marines 2 times a week as well, which is randomized, but that's pretty much it.

I'm sorry but this is completely contradictory advice. Calories will be burned regardless of whether its through caloric restriction or use in aerobic exercise.

I'm not sure about what I should do in terms of bulking, cutting, recomping ect. So from a how many calories perspective what do fit? Straight bulk? 500 cal deficit and lift?

do i cut or bulk? i told myself i would bulk til i hit 2pl8 bench and i’m so close but i feel like i’m starting to get too fat. also deadlift has stalled at fucking 275. surely this can’t be my max

I used to think those were proper pull ups in the beginning since i could never do one being a fatty for 20 years. You have to go all the way down, look up strict military pull ups. Use that as your standard
