How are ppl dealing with hunger pangs on OMAD diet? Successes? Failures?

I have studied these threads immensely. Personally, I lost weight about two years ago, and have been lifting ever since, so I never really had a reason. But a couple times I came in here, read the replies, and even asked a couple test questions.

Here's why /fat/ is useless:

How far can you get on weight loss without cardio, but you still lift, or at the very least do light cardio? I've been doing that for a while, and it's been working. The only time it doesnt work is if I do poorly on my diet. I just wanted to know if anyone tried losing weight this way and if you could lose a lot this way.

That sounds really low. I am doing OMAD but with about 1700-1900 calories a meal and it is working really well. Just make sure to go KETO as well.

I'm eating a pepper and considering starting a fast tomorrow. I'd been on the up and up healthy eating exercise getting lean... But my fucking roommate and her friends keep fucking everything up with ample booze and junk food.

If i'm getting most of my protein from whey do i need to use BCAA or some other supp?

In fact if you do cardio instead of lifting you will resemble deflated sack of potatoes in the end.

Do lifting, it might seem counter-intuitive but it works the best for weight loss, just eat more proteins that you eat anything else and you will get results.

There needs to be a place to complain honestly. It's better we complain here instead of going out into the real world and indulging. I find it good to clear my bad thoughts about food out here so I can stay motivated.

You're right about the lifting and exercise part though, I honestly think getting on a good gym plan is just as important as fixing your diet, assuming you're able to do it without hurting yourself. I even go to the gym 5x a week and I look like garbage (see progress pic) so anyone who expects to look good is wrong, but looking better than when we were fat is almost guaranteed.

I eat about 3 hours before bed. Just enough time so I don't get hungry again before bed. Enough time so that I don't wake up feeling sick but I also don't feel hungry in the morning. Then I'll have some coffee and plenty of water until it's time to eat.

I disagree. The posters in these threads consistently call others on their bullshit and will fatshame others. Sure, not everyone has the best diet plans or gives the best advice but that's why you tell literally everyone showing even a slight amount of weakness they're not going to make it.

Ive started Pro Wrestling training in October and I've been mostly lifting with some of the cardio from in-ring work and treadmiill, along with eating a bit better. Starting weight for November was 495
and i weighed in yesterday and i've lost 12 lbs

Look into casein protein powder also. After I lift today I'm going to take two scoops of whey and two scoops of casein. Whey give you a higher boost but lasts for three hours. Casein gives less of a boost but lasts seven hours. There has been evidence that the different types of protein compliment each other instead of getting in the way of each other.

Calm down. Weigh yourself when you get back and strategize according to the data you're given. If you need to lose a few pounds then get back to cutting for a little while. Once you're back at goal weight eat at maintenance.

Nearly all TDEE calculators are bullshit, the only real way to know is to weigh yourself everyday with proper management of fluids and electrolytes and do the simple math that follows suit.

No calculator can determine your rate of muscle synthesis, or water retention. Even things as simple as mental activity levels can change caloric need counts by 100.

I've been doing lots of cardio and fasting for the last 3 months, and it's been fantastic for weight loss. Should I throw in a bit of non-serious weight lifting for resting metabolism gains? I already did 6 weeks of serious lifting and found it to be a boring chore, and I wasn't making gains on my serious deficit, so I know I don't want to do that. I'd be fine setting aside an extra 20 mins just to get in a few sets of all my compound movements though.

Yeah you can still get some noob gainz with ~50g of protons a day which is doable even on a big deficit.

On Veeky Forums youll get blasted for that but honestly you should do something youll stick to. Consistency is key in losing weight. If youre gonna spend so little time the best compounds to do are gonna be overhead press and deadlifts

you need to lift, even if just to prepare joints and tendons for when you eventually are able to get on a surplus. compound movements are perfect for this, i recommend doing them before cardio.
