so guys how bad is it to lean back a little bit to grind through the last rep or two of a 5 rep set close to your 5RM max? I mean it feels okay, but I don't want to snap my shit up or cheat myself out of the benefits of the lift.

One of the foundational lifts for any Starting Thot program.

My favourite lift is incline dumbbell press. Its really fun using dumbbells that are heavier than most bench at my gym (35kg) and its fun seeing your chest squeeze in the mirror. It's also fun catching the cardio bunnies across the gym looking at you as you smash out reps.

To help with this, brace your abs like you do when you squat or bench. You could also give your pelvis some posterior tilt, which will slightly round your lower back, and reduce changes of snap city when doing ohp/p.press/m.press

Literally just got back from the gym after doing log press 210lbs for 3x5. However it shouldn't be the entire set. Also you shouldn't have the load so far back onto your chest you're effectively doing a bench press while standing.

Honestly, the number of people I see deadlifting with shit form (rounded back, collapsed core, inactive posterior chain, hyperextending the back) is much higher than the number of people I even see OHPing, much less with bad form.

Its just how it works on rails mate. The anti gravity machines remove all the hard parts of the lift. I only leg press because I hate lunges and it's close enough.

Leg press is simpler, add in factors like incline, the fact you often have a back brace (seat), your focus is simply on the legs and not full body control.
Basic physics

You're lifting 210 lbs, but you're not really lifting 210 lbs.

Your squat on the other hand has a multitude of factors against you.
One of the bigger ones is forward and backward stabilization. Not leaning any particular direction while going up and down adds a lot of stress.

1rm is usually lower than estimates, plus some people just make better progress using lower weight for a 3rm etc.
