I get some worrisome popping in my shoulders on incline press. Landmine press (or barbell throw if you're a crossfit retard) is essentially an incline press with neutral grip. It lets me focus upper pecs without worrying about fucking up my rotator cuff.

Exactly my friend. Having a world class lat pulldown weight isnt gonna make you a good rock climber. Doing exercises that are similar to rock climbing and rock climbing will make you a good rock climber. Weightlifting is only really good for creating a base for what you want to do.
Add a squat to the bottom half of the lift, and you got a real compound lift! They're called landmines and I used to do them shits
I did stronglifts for a year and when my friend took me bouldering I could do climbs he couldn't just due to my strength.
