Veeky Forums Jobs

What kind of job does Veeky Forums work? Do you guys naturally gravitate towards more physical jobs for the benefits, or do you not give a shit and just want money?

Yo where the fuck I want a job like that where I am I'd be lucky to get 12/h doing anything without having worked for a year and no degree

I'm a rigger

>don't hate it. Don't want to do it for rest of my life. Money helps me get through the day.

I work at Home Depot, hardware stores like that can pay well for people with no degree. If you work the unload crew you're also lucky cause you don't have to talk to customers

I was already fit now l get paid for it
Could probably double my salary if l wanted but this is pretty comfy

Moving. About $25/hr. It's cool. "Active rest" gets the soreness out, no office PC bullshit, and the stronger I get the easier work gets. If you're gonna be strong might as well monetize it.

I can pay my bills on 3-4 days/week. Plenty of time to read, lift, shitpost.

Age : 31
Job : Stockbroker
Salary : £110k (before commission)
Job helps fitness : Fuck no. My job is why I am here. Got too fat sitting on my arse all day.
Like Job : Fuck yes.

I'm an IT genius like 90% of this board earning a 300k salary.

I'm an IT major. I have an on campus help desk job that pays $9.65/hr, and the internship that I have for this summer pays $18.50/hr. Median salary upon graduation at my school for IT majors is $67,000
No
I can see myself liking it if I'm doing like network configuration or security on the back end, but I don't wanna end up doing boring help desk stuff like I do now. I'm actually thinking about joining the Navy and doing IT there -- sounds a lot more interesting than what most people at my school end up doing once they graduate (even though the pay isn't quite as high)

No
Yes, brewing is awesome and I love being in the taproom. I'm an owner and we're brand new so I'm not making anything but tips right now. Lots of fun but long hours and a good amount of physical labor. Cleaning, filling and delivering kegs is a good workout, so is when we get our grain. You try unloading 1000 lbs of grain that are in 55 lb bags sort and then store. Still all that beer laying around hasn't helped me lose weght

Where you at? I'm studying civil engineering and am a chainy for work experience hours (required for my degree).

Where are you at? You're grossly underpaid.

But it is nice to regulate diet and to keep a good schedule.

California, rural though. I know I'm underpaid, but the position required no direct experience, just crypto knowledge and networking experience so I grabbed it. Before I was making a merely 30k setting up outdoor wireless towers. Figure either to stick with it if they give good raises or to go NSA since I work with NIAP and CMVP all the time.

Does your money come from day trading or editing? I'm going to school for production technology and would like to edit for a living, any tips?

What is CNA? And how do I get into it

In Australia we have the equivalent - Ain. You work under a nurse and do all the dirty and heavy shit

Also surveybro. Spent 5 years bush surveying in north and central Alberta, now I’m up in Ft McMurray. Work is a bit slow, but it’s ok because I’m sick and wasting away. I want to get out of here. Not Fort McMurray, I mean Canada. I hate this country.

It's Certified Nurse Assistant in the states, and person who replied to this post before me is right. It's the grunt work of nursing, gross but oddly rewarding. Truly an unsung hero of a job and if you're male you have a job no matter what because they need the strength to turn bariatric lard asses as well as the visual authority to shut unruly patients down. You'd be surprised how many nurses get assaulted by patients for just doing their job.

Forgot to mention virtually all community colleges offer a course like this and have minimal prerequsities. Pays for itself in a couple months. If I worked full time period it would be 26k to 30k a year.

Proto tho: stay away from nursing homes, hospitals are where it's at.

Also 23 and studying to be a Surveyor. The course is God awful but it's only a year and the prospects make it worth it, especially living in London.

I stroke my cock fulltime baby.

Fitness actually dropped when I first joined up after completing training school, stations have gym and plenty of downtime to use them but it's easy to get sucked into being sedentary at station.

Absolutely love the job, couldn't imagine doing anything else. The adrenaline when you pull up at a working job is amazing. Used to work in purchasing and took a heavy paycut when I left, but honestly couldn't put a price on the job satisfaction I now get.

the hours are pretty lenient and it's pretty laid back atm, the pay's decent, considering the state of my country. Sometimes I get depressed I didn't study IT for that there 2-3k euro salaries

seeing these posts while living in eastern europe is super depressing

Is there a strong admiration of communism in those countries and if so is it more than modern western countries? I'd really like to know considering how it set back your countries like half a century

there is some admiration, especially from the older generations and people of russian ethnicity or just general losers (think rednecks, hillbillies). The problem is that these kind of people make up the majority of the voters so the government caters to their wants and needs, instead of the middle class
