Chad Career/Jobs

Is your line of work lining up with the characteristics of a Chad? Do you use your gains in the work environment? I am a firefighter/EMT and I think that is pretty far up on the chad-o-meter.

Crop duster here, fangin along at 300kmh at 10 feet goes alright

I was a Muhreen or, as I like to call it, a Mercenary for Obama but now I'm training to be a Welder

Forestry firefighter. Its easy af to pick up chicks to begin with bc 6'2 and good face but when they hear what my job is? Its over. Hard as fuck work and semi dangerous but overall its the best job Ive had. Would recommend if you like hiking

>firefighter
Great, youve mastered a skill that rain has made obsolete

Was a space muhreens, commercial fished in Alaska for years, fly helicopters now. Wooosh.

Scientist. So much gains are only helpful sometimes

Lmao peasants

The ultimate chad career is finance, especially I-banking

t. the business school where I go to college is 40% finance majors and they all dress like this

Chad doesn't dress like a fag.

If your 'business school' has an undergraduate college then you go to a pleb school. (With the sole exception of Wharton). I-Banks would sooner recruit an English major from Yale than a finance major from Pleb State U.

I don’t know ceo maybe? I personally want to be in the special forces and there are no chads there

Corrections Officer here, not the most Chad job but the gainz do come in handy when breaking up the occasional fight.

how'd you get that career I want in.

Northsea fisherman in winter and boat operator tour guide in summer sometimes.

Longline fishing on a small boat in a remote place waking up at weird times working long hours kills gains.

Tour guide in a remote place with long hours in freezing temperatures having active conversations all day long with a bunch of tourists also kills gains.

Although if I'm being honest with myself I think it's the constant alcohol abuse and partying that's really actually killing my gains.

Paleontologist. I'm doing research regarding dinosaur teeth at the moment. Impresses the qts every time. Pic related the inspiration for indiana jones

Engineer is the only answer

Dream life, minus having to talk with tourist imbecils. Mirin' dubs btw

I didn't know Ross Geller posted on Veeky Forums

Veeky Forums moderator, i bet they get all the pussy

I just make money off a bunch of Shopify sites that ship cheap Chinese products to the US

fucking weird, i'm in business school and everybody dresses like they just rolled out of bed

I’d like to become one, what’s the best way to go about doing it and how long does it take? Currently working on my EMT-B
I may want to pursue structural later on. How hard is it to become one? I’ve heard both types are very competitive, and can take literal years to get hired on somewhere.

>there are no chads there
Literally what

I go to Notre Dame. Our business school is consistently ranked above Wharton lol

No it isnt

trades.

I work for one of the big 4 UK banks in a senior management role for trade and open account. Can confirm I've had plenty of pussy in my years there, made easier by the fact most people don't lift. However lifting isn't one of the approved "rich" sports that get you in the club with the boys, so make sure you cycle, golf, tennis or w.e too - even badly. It's a perception thing.

Ask yourself: Do you love your work? Make money? Are you hot? If you answered to all three questions YES!, welcome to the Chad club.

See what companys in your area are hiring for the season and send in an app on the website. No requirements except be in good shape, pay is ok and you get tons of hours. If you like hiking and dont mind hardwork I recommend you try a season (4-6 months normaly).

Also we in the Rocky mountains start getting hired around march. Its wise to start cardio and hiking more to train, even if you are in shape.

The only Chad profession is white collar criminal.

I’m in Colorado. Once you’re on, are you on? Any companies you’d recommend?

With wildland, anyways? Until you’re 35 or you get a permanent position? How hard would you say is it to get a permanent position? I’d like to make firefighting my career, and use my degree more as a back up.

Male pornstar is the most Chad, specifically public only actors.

My pornstar name would be Chad Thundercock.

I’m a mechanical engineer (student) may be considered Chad if I get a job working at a cool place... otherwise it’s just a semi Chad salary and not actual job

My nigga

You need to become an engineer for hammer strength or something.

Boilermaker welder here
Chad/10

I'm not in the chad club right now, i've done everything from software to working in a dump. I want back in.

why do engineers always suck each others dick so openly? anyone else notice this? All of the engineers I meet irl are top tier redditors.

how hard is it to get into welding? is it still in demand? will robots make you obsolete?

Shy people relate to shy people. It's a major that attracts introverts. As a former introvert, I find it very easy to communicate with autists, as I was once one. Helps with work.

Is being a cop that works by the beach Chad? Considering it myself. I've always wanted a job where I'm paid to protect people. It makes me feel like a hero. The thought of dying for someone else ironically makes me feel alive. Anyone else?

Lawyer

It’s not as glamorous as it seems. The majority of calls will either be public intoxication, shop lifting, or domestic violence (those can turn ugly, fast). You will be spit on, called every name in the book, and generally disrespected by everyone other than LARPers and other cops. But then they’ll still expect you to treat them with respect because “I pay your salary bro”, and to come running to some shit bags aid not 5 minutes after he just told you to go fuck yourself while he acts all pompous towards you. You’ll get someone from every walk of life, and you’ll get every varying degree of people from “sovereign citizens” to the Yale grad who knows the DA, and will get off the hook while making you look bad because you caught him snorting coke out of a strippers ass. If you can live with that, along with some of the nastiest shit (literally and figuratively) you’ll ever see, then it’s the job for you.

2017 Geology grad here with a 2:1 (UK grade)

>graduated last summer, it's now been 6 months of unemployment.

On the upside, I got my first real interview in 2 weeks time. Hope it all goes well, I really do.

I am now actively applying for local jobs, to get some money into the bank unitil I get a proper job.

Anyone, got any advice? I am feeling pretty down righ now.

Air traffic controller.

Most guys I work with are either Chad or military nerds.

Wear a suit made entirely out of rocks to exhibit not only how strong you are, but also about how serious you are when it comes to the subject matter.

Also good luck on the interview

Getting an engineering degree is pretty difficult so to meet someone what did the same thing is cool. Really not that complicated... maybe it takes an engineering degree to figure out

This. You fuckers have no purpose on my earth, whenever there is a fire in my town, I just do a rain dance. Can't believe we still pay taxes for you.

Laser Engineer here (Major in Physics, minor in Electrical Engineering). Everyone I’ve met so far that’s an engineer, or even the ones in my classes, were so socially inept that my brain bled talking to them. You will find the MOST autistic people in these fields, especially in the more math heavy careers.

I just spit on it. Fuck waiting fo the rain gods to do shit when Mother Earth gave me the perfect tools to do it myself.

Maybe 1% of them. All others are beta.

>engineer
>banker
>thinking these soyboy jobs are chad jobs

Listen you guys make great money and are definitely set up to have 2.5 kids and a wife who never fucks you.

But no chick has ever gotten soaked from hearing about that big data analysis you just finished up on. You guys sit in a cube and are in charge of maybe 1 or 2 other people.

Not a chad job.

Chicks fantasize about fireman, lumber jacks, Military guys, and actors etc.

and surgeons for whatever reason

Surgeons save lives, breh. It’s all about how the job sounds, not how it is. They don’t care if you do vasectomies or if you’re in the ICU, it’s all about the title.

on the back of a garbage truck. def not chad, but maybe a brad job?

Sounds legit, it just seems more pronounced

Brad’s the one driving who’ll weasel his way into being a district managers somehow.

Finance here, talking about other people's money all day while you make 43k gross and less than 30k take home blows ass. Though I got my BA in history and it's entry level work, it's fucked. Looking for a new job this weekend.

>Not Fire Medic
Sucks anyway, I just wanna fight fire. But at least Im way cooler than these EMT scrubs

Never thought hiking was difficult until I did some wild land stuff. Got some respect for those mountain bunnies.

you don't get much more chad than a mathematician

Wildland is pretty easy to start in. Structure will be very difficult. Where do you live, location matters. So Cal is probably the best place for firefighting right now.

I’m in Colorado, Denver/Aurora area. I refuse to live in California, as I’m a staunch believer in my second amendment rights. Is Nevada in need or other surrounding areas? And if I do get hired on in wildland, am I guaranteed a spot the following season or do I have to reapply? And how hard is it to make it into a permanent position? This is something that I think I’d like to make a career. I’d like to work as a fire line medic, too if that helps.

This

I work with a lovely and extremely beautiful woman who has MS, she prefers being carried at all times when we're indoors, hates the wheelchair.
I remember the first time she asked me if I could carry her
"Don't get me wrong now, it makes me feel more normal like it's in a romantic way, even though I know it's not."
That became the reason I started lifting again and stopped my anorexic bullshit attitude as well, sometimes someone else's well being becomes the motivation for you to improve your own health

None of that “I am the sheepdog” bullshit, but it’s something I’ve grown up around my whole life, and I own a bunch that mean a lot to me, but aren’t California compliant. I’m not comfortable selling/butchering family heirlooms to be California compliant.

History major Brah here too. I’m in insurance and compared to the physical labor jobs I had when I was younger, I feel like I’m getting paid for doing nothing. I’m the only person in the 150-person company I work for who is above 6’ and lifts but all the grills are fat slobs so I’m king of the garbage dump.

Do you have to fight off little green men in garbage cans that do nothing but mope and get in your way?

There’s only one person who looks green but I think they have a vitamin defeciency.

Unkempt mongrel detected

>Command + F
>"physician" not found

Are you fags even trying? Nothing more chad than saving lives with an advanced scientific understanding at 300k a year.

Pilot in the USAF. It's one of the most Chad jobs that I can think of. You get paid well, you get to travel the world, do bad ass shit, and everyone you work with is a Chad in their own right.

Does it matter? Not really. You're gone most of the year, and you typically live in shit holes.

Military towns are strange as hell. The gender ratio is super out of whack, so you'll find gigachads that are walking around with frumpy hobbits. Most Air Force bases are in small town shitholes.

If looking at sclerosed veins on penises and sever cases of toe fungus are Chad, I’m not sure if I want to be one.

I helped cut open an 18 yr old kid's sack to surgically correct testicular torsion last week. Nothing will make you feel more alive than seeing a live human testicle out on an operating table.

thought about looking abroad pal?

EMT here, how about seeing a dead one? Some guy tried to jump a spiked fence the other day, ripped his sack and landed on the dangling restocked HARD. Was smooshed to literal pieces when I got there. The kid loves though, so there’s that.

*testicle, not restocked.

*Lived. Fuck IOS. I guess he does love too though, but only half as much now.

>Only half as much
Kek

Any oil company would be glad to hire you on, aside from off shore rigs.

Is it possible to volunteer as an emt without being certified?

The only chad engineering is Aerospace Engineering, the rest is trash

No. You need at minimum an EMT-B. If you do get on somewhere without one, then you need to be prepared for legal ramifications if anything comes up and your qualifications are looked at.

Even then, they aren’t even that Chad.

>male nurse
Chad af

Slaying puss while saving puss.

Being a ZOGbot is not Chad

>male nurse
>chad
Kek'd. Murse is so beta

Football/hockey players are obvious chads. Any popular sports is good, really
>fame
>money
>fitness

Nothing beats that.

Marines pilots are better, if two guys are the exact same but ones in the marines and ones in the AF, the woman will automatically pick the marine

I have a friend that is a nurse, gets laid pretty regularly apparently.

No shit, as a male nurse 99% of your coworkers are sluts

Anyone can get laid 'pretty regularly'. Bartender living on petty tips can get laid every night. Gym coach in his 40s who never achieved anything noteworthy can get laid every night. Being Chad is not just about getting laid

Actor

In undergrad business school rankings, ND is consistently number 1 or number 2 in the country

For MBA programs, Wharton is probably better, but I was talking about undergrad. Should have specified that
