Which one?
Which one?
high bar
All of them. Use them each for different purposes. Never be tied down to just one
front
same here, forces me into the right position, and lighter loads so I can fit in suits again
Low bar heavy, front light on diddly day
My arms won't stretch back so I can only front squat. How do I fix this?
Holding the bar in front makes infinitely more sense for avoiding back injuries
alternate high bar and front. high bar for general strength, front squat to enhance clean and get deeper
Facepulls my friend. Really make sure you hit that upper back and rear delt and flex.
High bar master race
I can't help but pity those that do low bar. To be so inflexible you have to stoop to such a vulgar variation. It's disgusting
That's what I do so I agree with this guy
Onions
This is the best thing I know for shoulder mobility
what flexibility do you even need to do high bar?
Is it bad I just do what feels comfortable? My body seems to like high bar and does front squats lighter than my high bar squats. My low bar squats feel like I am going to fall forward.
I've never done a front squat.
Ankles and hamstrings
Ditto. Hip impingement means back squats are not to decent depth, this is no issue with front squats.
>Hamstrings
isnt this a meme?
Tight hamstrings leads to butt wink once you start going past parallel
high bar is fantastic for heavy pause squats I also have good ankle mobility because slav masterrace. I gave myself an annoying wrist injury trying to learn how to front squat, however, I think I was leaning too far forward from looking straight, do any of you guys lean your head back for front squats? my injury makes parallel parking incredibly painful
yeah i thought that was the case too, but ive also heard that its not. apparently since while the hamstrings are being stretched at the top the part by the knee is shortened
