True. People forgot, the reason they started coming to Veeky Forums in the first place. Above all else this board is ones way of improving himself. It's quite easy to forget where you're headed with the abundance of threads (most of which don't even have to do with fitness), but the mere phrase "We're all gonna make it". Like a gentle breeze on your shoulder pointed you in the right direction. I feel like people really need to get back on track.

i stopped coming to this board regularly 2 or 3 years ago because i realized if i ever wanted to maintain a positive mindset and healthy self-image i would have to step away from "why even lift if..." and "feels" threads. the board is just a bunch of dyel bucket-of-crabs.

he trolled and shitposted a lot. But there was plenty of stuff where he motivated people. He hated that people hated on fat people or others at the gym. He had respect for everyone who tried to better their life.

Some people dont care that much and are happy with their bodies and its not a big issue for them, good for them, but for anyone to take the piss out of and ridicule anyone trying their best to lose weight/gain muscle and make a change for themselves, especially if they are finding it hard due to their genetics, make me sick. If you want it, you will get it, and will eventually prove the haters wrong. And that is one of the best feelings a human being can experience.
