Can you get jacked without doing squats? my knees are really fucked up

can you get jacked without doing squats? my knees are really fucked up.

you'd be a quadlet

Do proper form box squats then. 0 pressure on the knees

That's literally the only thing leg press is good for OP. People with injuries.
Don't lock out, and ease in to it. Are your knees fucked up from injury or just weak?

I fucked them up stretching, they've been injured for 3 years. Docs are having trouble diagnosing it.

yeah already doing body box squats to try and rehab my knees.

bro i am dyel as fuck besides my legs, reason being is isometrics, never done a squat or diddlie in my life

landmine squats and reverse lunges

>never done a squat or diddlie in my life

it shows.

compared to the rest of my body tho, will do diddlies once i can afford to buy more weights

squats shouldnt bother ur knees bro

thx for the suggestions

hey that’s my oc haha, first time I’ve seen it posted by someone that isn’t me

well done sir, well done :)

take glucosamine

consumed an entire bottle of like 200 pills and it didn't change anything. :(

yea glucosamin/chondroitin is shit

You know what cures bad knees? Heavy back squats.

If you don't squat, you're a pussy.

you look fat dude, easily 22% Bf if not more, you have the adiposity of a woman

squatting is my favorite compound exercise, but following through on that suggestion will just make my condition worse.

it really doesn't, his legs are bigger than a lot of people who squat regularly

yes, easily

the only thing you'll be missing out on really is quads, deadlift variations will build hamstrings/glutes/erectors better than squats will

good luck training quads without putting some sort of pressure on the knees though

this is absolutely terrible advice

"bad knees" can mean any number of issues, some of which actually involve squatting in the rehab protocol and some of which contraindicate squatting

see a doctor, but make sure it's one that works with athletes so you don't get the standard "just stop lifting lol" advice
