If it's abs, fast. If it's strength/muscles, eat a lot and lift heavy weights. I'm assuming you're new and need to be spoonfed. Whatever you've been doing in the gym for "4 months" has been a waste though, so please read the sticky and consider following a real program.

mostly cardio and calisthenics and some basic dumbell shit.

Dont worry about that shit if all you're doing is aimless dumbell training.

Hit cardio, 500 cal deficit, high protein for another month or 2 then get on a good program at a gym with deadlifts and cable crunches so you get those abs BOYYYYYYYYYYY

low intensity cardio is not very good for muscle gains btw, but high intensity is great for muscle gain, power, growth etc.

Also maybe intermittent fasting like 4/20 or 6/18 cause maybe your insulin resistance is fucky. good luck

You did your math wrong

You slowly wind down until you stop lifting altogether because you are slowly training yourself to hate yourself and hate lifting. You could try short intermittent fasting if you want, that MAY work, but i'd still be wary.
