I play about hour a day on League of Legends. And still work 40-56 hours a week.

Who's the best hog

Gym 6 times a week, 40 hour work week, consistently play vidyas. Though I'm branching out into other areas of entertainment/hobbies

Ye my man. Find time for all of my interests at some point every week even with a 9-5. Not as hard as Veeky Forums and other boards make it out to be, seems like it's "video games all day" or "no time for anything" and no in between with these guys

Nah. I lost interest in games when I started lifting and joined some sports. It just felt like I was wasting time.

i an alternate universe stpeach is on MFC instead of twitch

she has brown hair.

so 1 game?

I'm playing BotW and replaying Fallout 4 just to remind myself why I disliked the game

Same. Even if I "beat" the game or win what have I accomplished? I can't compete with the fatties who play 24/7 so no money and I gain no skills pressing buttons on a controller. Started making music instead, much more fulfilling

1-2 matches. Depends if niggas get tilted or not.

Which DAW do you use? I’m currently using Reason 10

I work 40 hours. 1 day of school. Girlfriend and play fifa. I go to the gym y days a week

I only play on my days off. My routine is:
>wake up at 9am
>be at gym from 10am to 12
>work from 1pm to 9pm
>movie/cook/clean from 9pm to midnight

If I play video games before going to bed, I have a harder time falling asleep

>Wake up at 9
What are you, a neet?

i can see ur like silver or something

You’re right! I was really drunk during that particular match...

Nice. I use Reason too, still on version 6 though is 10 worth updating to?

It's been I think several years since I last played it, but the community was always toxic. I guess everything below Plat 1 or the lowest stage of the following rank (is it still diamond?) is just pure cancer, with more and more malign growth the lower you get

How does it feel to be mentally retarded ?

>be me
>plans for making it so that i got time for sloots video games friends and gym
>gonna go out the brst fucking way i can think of if fail
>i like to live so dont wanna plan B
Am i gonna make it bros?

Is there any nice freeware maybe? I was planning to get into lo-fi hip hop or sth like that

Yes it is worth upgrading. Version 10 finally has VST support!

My sona game is legit

I clearly mentionned I work from 1pm to 9pm

I do yo, also married and have kids but they're old enough that they entertain themselves. Playing FFXII via remote play on Vita in bed every night this week while doing gym 4 days a week, a cardio day and work 45 hours

Yeah, shit ain't hard. Go to work, go to the gym, drink your protein while playing games; all in a day's work.

Currently B- on ESEA and most of the time I just rush and get plants. Shit's boring, I get more of a rush playing Source.

I've kinda gotten bored of videogames.

go is truly the worst cs

>being this wrong

...

kek

i would bury my nose so far in her ass that i'd have to pick her shit nuggets out of my nostrils the next day

reminder asian incels made a parody porn of this girl to get back at white racists.

dont bother lifting gookboy

they'd probably just fall out next morning or next time you sneeze like blow does

I was mostly bored with games because I like playing coop games. But I'm getting into playing one new game now, vermintide 2.
I work 40 hours a week, workout 3 days @ 3 hours each day. Besides playing on my days off I play maybe an hour on my workout days and 2 to 3 hours on the days in between workouts.

>3 hours each day you go
what are you doing user? Do you go with a large group or something?

I work 40 hours a week, gym 6 days a week and play ~ 6 hours a day of path of exile. I also get at least 8 hours of sleep a night.

hes not wrong though?
1.6 is best with source being slightly lower with a huge power gap between it and go

>the vast majority of players agree that while League's and intense, competitive game,
kek how can you call yourself anything but a child if you still play this shit

I've been messing around with workouts to see what works for me. So atm full body workouts. Each exercise 5x10 rest 2 mins between each

Have you played 1.6 lately? GO is leaps ahead of it (even though GO had a terrible launch and took a year or two to get it right). Source is practically unplayable, game's complete trash and always was

best of luck to you brother, I used to do 2 hours on my days when I was much younger but I'd be so beat after that I wouldn't have had another hour in me

at least 1.6 isnt full of literal children

hey no argument there, I play it on mute and only do casual because I don't have time to go at it serious but the game itself is great

You are exactly right
>mfw

>sleeping more than 8 hours
Does your time really mean that little to you?

I've always found cs go community to be one of the best in the major coop games i've played. They are certainly better then lol

>bros lift n play video games on the daily all while having a job?

It isn't so much that I can't but that I won't. Time is scarce when you're a man and why would I waste my time on dopamine buttons and escapism as opposed to the great works of literature, art and film? Most people who play these games do it to fill the lack of competition or mystery in their lives as opposed to finding these things in the real world, and they end up no better off.

GO was great in the beginning (2013-2015) when it was basically a 1.6 mirror. Between skins, the map redesigns, and LoL level toxicity, it's hard to stay interested in GO.

People who bag on Source just sucked at Source, simple as that.

I find the same. Still make time to play vidya with my brother when he's around though.

Yeah.

>moved away from home town for a good job
>break up with gf
>nobody at work is my age
>see new girl a few times, doesn’t work out
>hit the gym even harder
>all friends are back home or in the city I went to uni in
>start talking to old female friend from uni who lives nearby
>accidentally sperg out and write a huge paragraph about how the job is great but I’m really lonely
>seen

Welp. Back to video games and lifting for the foreseeable future.

>bronze 3
U CANT MAKE THIS SHIT UP

torrenting is your friend

It’s a rough life when you gotta play solo cue

As a hobby, I find programming much more challenging and rewarding than playing games.
>actual real world applicability
>improvements transfer (ie something I learn while working on one project can directly transfer to future projects)
>deeper, more consistent systems than any game
>allows for true freedom and creativity
Plus I make damn good money doing it professionally.
Every once in a while I try to play another game. I used to play them constantly, fucking wasted my entire teenage life on them. But for some reason that enjoyment just isn't there anymore. I look at games that come out now and think they look cool, but I lose interest an hour or two in.
And there's always this nagging feeling in the back of my mind that playing games is just pissing into the wind.

So sleeping 8 hours is okay but 9 is unacceptable? Ok

how do i into programming

>"beating" the game
protip: you were never gaming correctly

>mfw I only play Sona so if she's picked or banned, I leave the game

na.op.gg/summoner/userName=DeltronZero

As much as I'm ambivalent towards the language, Python is probably a good place to start. Pretty easy to pick up, and there's lots of good books and online resources.
Or you can start off with Scheme. It's beautiful, elegant, and expressive. It's perfect for learning the basics of computer science. And you'll never be able to use it in any real-world project.

>blaming solo queue

No, you are just a flaming trash. Hpe you get stuck in bronze, you piece of shit

Not him, but solo queue as a support can be hell

>match with clueless noobtard bot that misses minions and finishes with less dmg than you
>match with a decent bot, but your jungler/top is garbage so botlane is pretty much a 2vs3

>As much as I'm ambivalent towards the language, Python is probably a good place to start.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Are you retarded? Learning programming by learning python is like going to the gym and only curling. It is retarded.

Learn C. Start by reading the book written by the creators of C.

After you know C at an intermediate level, learning new languages is ez pz (because most of the other languages are based on C).

>Attempt to learn C as first language
>get frustrated and give up, convinced that programming is miserable and difficult and bogged down in low-level details that (at this point) you lack the technical expertise to easily understand
Or
>learn Python as first language
>high-level language so you can focus on learning to program, not dealing with bunch of frustrating technical bullshit
>easy to read, interpreter makes experimentation quick and easy
>then learn C, because it is genuinely useful to know
This sort of shit is what scares people off from programming.

I second this, Learn C then you can deal with any language you want.

MIT uses python for their intro to programming course, any comments on why you think that is?

If you can't learn C as your first language pls give up on CS. Apply to McDonald's maybe.

Don't like growth huh?

Except that what's most important to real programming is shipping the damn product. Python has libraries to do anything, it's simple to learn, and you can drop down to writing C easily when you need to. It'll teach what they need to know, and they can learn other languages later

Telling people to learn C first is like advising a fattie to start doing Olympic lifts (tough, dangerous and not that useful) before they can walk around the block without panting.

Besides, Rust > C

It's because they want to teach programming, not make the subject seem imposing or complicated. Prior to Python they used Lisp. These are high-level languages so that students can focus on learning the basics of programming and not have to worry about low-level implementation details. Not that that stuff isn't important, but it can be overwhelming at first.
These fucks just want to protect their fragile egos and convince themselves that they're geniuses for knowing how to program.
The truth is programming isn't that hard. Even children can do it. But it's different, and there's some basic skills that you have to learn before you can really start to understand it.
Of course learning C as your first language is nowhere near impossible, and I know tons of people who started out like that. But it doesn't mean that's an ideal first choice.

I first learned C++, then C, and now everything I do is in python, so you're probably on the right track.

t. physics undergrad.

Yep. I have a wife and child and if I can do it, anyone can.

Gym six days a week, work 60-70 hours, 1-2 MBA classes at a time, paint/play Warhammer 40k (though I do both badly...), take care of wife and two kids, and find time to play some KSP on the weekends.

I do all that and I go to school too
>I hate my life

who keeps posting this whore

C/C++ aren't that bad of places to start as many people claim, but it would probably be best to start off with some higher level programming language course meant for beginners or at least learn about some of the concepts first.

This video series here is the best that I know of for people who are absolutely sure they want to start with C++, since it is a spoonfeed for someone who has never ever written a program in their life as the title suggests youtube.com/watch?v=tyVhn0FWWB4. Take notes like you would with a real lecture or class. As "homework", you can sign up for something like hackerrank, and do some of the stuff on the C++ track on there so that you can actually try the concepts you learn out.

If you can't understand C, then you have no bussiness working in the programming industry. You will forever be a lowly code-monkey who will never progress.

God, the rest of your post just makes me seethe. God i want to punch you in the face

The same way a personal trainer would recommend using smith machine to learn squat form.

>Except that what's most important to real programming is shipping the damn product.
STFU you fucking pajjet. People like you have absolutely no business writing code

>Telling people to learn C first is like advising a fattie to start doing Olympic lifts

And it is a damn good advice.

>not make the subject seem imposing or complicated.
If you are looking for a easy and straightforward career, then programming is not for you

jump into a few rounds of TF2 after work almost every day

Probably lying.

>The truth is programming isn't that hard.
Look mommy I just imported everything in python.

same, just got 25 day chat restriction

Look mommy, I make things sound more complicated than they are so I can feel smart.

Let us make a deal, ok? You go back to doing your fizzbuzz in python, with your real cool dictionaries, and variable array size, but you will refrain from giving shit tier programming advice, k?

disclaimer to people who want to learn programming: DO NOT LEARN PYTHON AS YOUR FIRST LANGUAGE! 1st because you will never be a good python programmer, cause you have no idea of how python works, 2nd because it will give you shit habits. 3rd it is a shit language and it is terribly inefficient (more then 100 times slower then C)

Watch a couple of introductory youtube videos about programming basic concepts (variables, recursion, loops, x=x+1...), then jump right into C.

oh shit, what's fizzbuzz?

Yeeeeaaaahhhh booiiii.
Mostly just fighting games though, they help me relax. Pic related just picked up dragontesticlefighterz on PS4. it’s pretty fun.

>Responds with same format
>import ass as brain

This is the problem with learning python.

They teach the high level programming languages at my school for introductory courses too.
>Dr Rachet

Guess what happens to people who have no knowledge of C/C++ when they get to higher level courses.

play steam games and World of warcraft, full time student, 12-16 hours work per week at mcdonalds (work with a fun crew and get to bring home anything to eat which is nice)

I work a 40 hour job, go to the gym at least three days a week, and play video games. Been playing mostly PC such as PUBG, FFXIV and other shit.

Yeah, sorry, I guess you're right. I like to think I'm a pretty solid programmer, but I don't have hardly any experience with low-level stuff. I started with Java and (aside from a couple OS and assembly classes) haven't really dealt with any non high-level language. Definitely a glaring hole in my knowledge.

And somehow have girlfriends. I don't know how they do it.

work 45 to 50 hrs
lift 4 times a week
bjj twice a week
muay thai once
cardio twice a week during lunch at work
drive 3hrs to see gf every friday and hang out there for the wknd

still find time to play a game or two of pubg at night or now just play a few hours of kingdom come deliverance. Its exhausting but body gets used to it

hiya steve

Buy "Coding with Cobol" First Edition

>not learning MIPS first
fucking retards

I would rather stand in my driveway for an hour than play LoL. That game is trash

I got my friends to buy rainbow six siege and within 3 weeks they all have over 100 hours. Praise Rook

I really don't understand how often I hear "Oh I just don't have time for videogames."
>Paramedic, 3 exhausting 24 hour shifts a week
>Work out 6 days a week
>Me and my girlfriend are the guardians of her significantly younger brother (He's 10, I'm 26)
>Do a pretty good job making time for us to all send time together as a unit and separately from that have dates with her
>At least one day a week have a full blown hang out with my best male friend besides the gym where we catch up on anime and shit
>Still play games
New content came out for Siege, FFXV, and Metal Gear Survive this week. I'm subsisting on Duel Links on my phone while I'm at the station but when I get home I'm going in on that shit
