I used to be just like you. Between my adderall, coke, and cigarette binges i would find myself hitting the hay hours after sunrise, and waking up nearly at sunset.
This is just a mistimed circadian rhythm. You can be a normal person and try to pull your bed time earlier steadily over time, or you can be a dumbass like me and skip sleep for a night then crash early and sleep early the next day.
What i would do was skip sleep for an entire day and then be so tired that I'd knock out at like 6 pm, then i would get up at like 3 am and start a new day. You'll feel like shit for a few days but stick to this schedule. You're essentially fixing jetlag.
