Like, I remember in high school the biggest bitch in the world tried to play, and obviously had to lift (he was a freshman). We always used rubber weights for floor lifts, and he had 2 10lbs bumper plates on either side. They were bendy and the bar wouldn't stand up. Shit kept falling all over. But he was 14 years old, 5'3", and a very doughy 140ish.

Had to put the bumper weights on with the little iron ones and it's still not enough
I guess you're supposed to be able to lift at least half your own body weight
