are your knees okay?
my lower back and knees feel messed after only squatting 285x5
I can't imagine going up to 800
jeez

>pussy pad

ask me how I know that you don't even lift

>800lb squatter
lose some weight lad, that's nearing world record size

Why are you doing cardio

They're OK ever since I started doing at least 100 reps of hamstring curls every week

Im too heavy for my heart and lungs lol its pretty uncomfortable

What do you squat lad

Bump

hamstring curls eh? helps the knees? got any tricks for the lower back pain?

>800lb+ squatter

What does a 800lb+ squatters ass look like? Pics?

Attached: james.jpg (901x509, 59K)

So how much can you squat?

Yeh, you're doing loads of knee extensions (squats) and no knee flexion so you're gonna have your quads pulling hard on your knee and nothing pulling it back. Exactly the same as training rear delt to prevent pain from benching.

As for lower back, not sure. Probably a form issue, got a video?

Why do you lie to strangers on the internet?

My best is 376kg which is like 820 lbs or something

>pussy pad
You're trying to troll us?

I have no video. Wish I did though to show you.

>WE ARE ALL THE SAME!
COPE

Cope

Hmm, in that case make sure you're breathing correctly and not hyperextending your lower back.
Back tightness is from your stomach not your spine

whats got you confused

What roids have you done/are you doing?

How quickly did you get to 300/400lbs from the day you first started training squats?

Ily Sam

ALL NATURAL

Not sure man, probably a year to 300lbs because I only had about 225lb in weights for a while. I remember the first time I squatted a 10kg bar I fell over though.

Love you too man whoever you are

A big fan (and significantly weaker trip) from /plg/.

>natty

What the fuck is that cookiecutter trash scawled on the wall? We ARE NOT the same and it insults those who are great to say they are not and affords a false sense of well being to those who fall short. If I came into the gym and saw that vandalism I would cancel my membership immediately.

The only way you'd really see that is if you were using MY squat rack so I'd escort you out of the gym myself

lol lets just say I like test and I like tren

With what, your t-rex arms?

Lmao people said I should trip there, but I can't be bothered. Also I have no idea how to

Is it true that squats are a "full body" exercise and not just legs?

post body

How much do you weigh?
How tall are you?
How much is your deadlift?
Does a belt make much of a difference in how much weight you can squat?

>800lb+ squatter here ask me anything while I do cardio
How long untill you can squat twice your bodyweight?

Not full body as in literally every muscle in your body but sort of.

Obviously your legs are the main movers but youll stress everything in your back doing them too.

Got no recent pics but videos on my instagram

1. 140kg ish right now
2. 5'11 manlet
3. My best deadlift is 320kg
4. I'm not sure about how much I get out of a belt but generally it'll make a big difference, especially if you have a good thick powerlifting belt. You'll be able to brace a LOT harder

How much do you weigh?

I fucking hate squatting. How can i make it enjoyable?

t. chestbro

This is a believable thread with absolutely no proof.

You just type in whatever the fuck you want your name to be, put two hashtags after it and type in your password.

Doing legs increases test, also leglets are laughable

Fix your form and start training to get stronger. Once you start seeing the progress you'll start liking it. I was the same with bench

Thanks mate

I mean the pussy pad fits with the message on the wall

do people really believe OP?
holy shit how many newfags

Not OP but a really heavy high bar back squat or front squat will transfer to pressing strength. If you can walk out 500lbs, racking 200lbs for a press is much easier for your shoulder girdle to handle.

I literally just posted a video, nice cope twink

OP how long did it take for you to get from 315 to 405?

He has posted videos in /plg/ before

And here, newfag

Not a clue, back then I was adding 2.5kg to the bar for sets of 8 at least once a week. So idk, like 4 months? Lets say half a year

Also true, good point

thicc

How do i stop forward knee travel on my squat? it really fucks up my bar path.

I had exactly the same issue and I am still trying to fix it.

If you're similar to my squat I was sitting back into my hips correctly and then dumping the weight onto my quads at the bottom and my knees shifted forwards.

I'm fixing this by just continuing to sit back, not rushing the depth (but as you can see by the vids its a work in progress)

If you mean you cannot squat without excessive knee travel, try widening your stance and focus on pushing your knees OUT and your hips BACK.

A lot of people misinterpret the knees out cue as knees forwards.

How do increase my bench? Could it also be a form issue? Or is it supposed to stagnate?

Attached: IMG_20180318_021436.jpg (1080x1039, 263K)

>no politics
>we are all the same
fucking pick one
brainlet gym

No lift is supposed to stagnate.

Could be form yes, post a video. Also eat more

>Squats 800 lbs
>LE SOY BOY

Kill yourself. Legitimately.

Not OP but you can increase your bench by building upper body mass with high rep assistance work (rolling tricep extensions, single arm tricep extensions etc.) or on your second pressing day do a wide grip (two fingers wider than normal bench grip) bench for 2 sets of 25. Got my bench from 135kg to 142.5kg in a month and a half or so

Also a good point.

Loads of tricep work and upper back work (the upper back will help massively with every lift)

Should be
Rich/Poor
Male/Female
Young/Old
High Test/Soy Boy

X lbs is always X lbs

Have been lifting a bit over a year, fairly close to 3 pl8 for reps, I assume I can 1 - 2 rep 3pl8.
I still fucking hate squatting, dread the days when I have to squat and will probably stop trying to progress past 3 pl8.
At this point am I bound to continue hating them?

OF course the manlet adds "we are all the same"

>a bag of meat and bones driven by a ghost
>not basically all the same

>not browsing /plg/ frequently enough to have seen BigSquatBros 376kg squat the first time he posted it
the only newfag here is you ya little gaybo

You seem like such a nice dude on top of having an amazing squat
love you real good, keep on being an inspiration to /PLG/ friendo

how long did it take you to go from a 500lb squat to a 600lb squat? from 700 to 800?

Hey thank you man, I'm trying to be

No sure about 500 to 600 sorry, but I first did 700lbs at my first competition last february and 800lbs in November last year, so thats ~9 months

i dig the music at your gym

How do you feel about protein intake?

>do people really believe OP?
>holy shit how many newfags
im so cool i say every thread is fake rather than play along with the anonymous shitposting

This guy was cool enough to share his IG.

Now you niggs can LARP as him whenever

Lmao this kid got rekt

All compound increase test no?

This is pretty good. Glad there was proof shown. I hope it really is natty. At 315 right now maybe i'll get to this before i'm 25.

hes not and you probably wont. sorry

What's your diet like? TDEE? Why are you doing cardio now? If you would have to give ONE advice to people.trying to overall improve their squats, what would it be?

Tdee is around 7000 calories. Diet is not bad but a lot of home made weight gain shakes because I don't have the time or the appetite for it.

My advice other than the standard advice given is train your upper back a LOT more than you think you should be. Train it every day

Best upper back exercise in your opinion? What's yo bodyfat? How come your TDEE is so.high?

Best accessory for bigger squat?

Any type of row focusing on scapula retraction will help your upper back stability in the squat, but really do whichever you enjoy. I like heavy face pulls on the latest pulldown.
Tdee is so high probably because I'm 140kg but I agree it is unusually high

Whatever your weak points are. Mine was my upper back so for me it was rows and judging from what I see in the gym and in videos, lots of people's backs are too weak

if you could go back now and advise yourself two years ago with regards to your lifting, what would you say

Let's see a video of your 1/8 ROM squat.

instagram.com/p/BghNaZ_F_h2/?taken-by=sammeadepl
Now let's see yours

How do you find the motivation to continue hitting PRs when you have to look at that gay shit on the wall every time you walk in the gym?

>instagram.com/p/BghNaZ_F_h2/?taken-by=sammeadepl
Jesus christ, how short are you, Bilbo Baggins? That was barely 10" of movement.

I've never been afraid of any man, I don't give a fuck how big. I made it in my early 20's. But for some reason, seeing this dude makes me legitimately worried. If I was walking down a dark street and saw this coming, I would be concerned for my goddamn safety. Dude looks like a fucking animal. Is this what real strength looks like?

>Is this what real strength looks like?
Yeah, you have to live it, bro

Get heavier and stronger but do cardio also. I'm paying for thst now because my breathing sucks.

Also take more time to look at your technique and fix your weakpoints rather than working your strengths

If you can't lift because of something written on a wall you're not gonna make it bro

Cope

Is your voice really deep?

Not particularly probably middle ish

>instagram.com/p/BghNaZ_F_h2/?taken-by=sammeadepl

What do the wraps do at your ankles? When would one even start needing this?

he warmed up in knee sleeves, then when he switched to wraps he rolled the sleeves down instead of taking them off. theyre not special ankle sleeves

Yep this guy is right, typically warm up to around 300 in sleeves then put the wraps on. Can't be bothered to take my shoes off so I'll just roll the sleeves down

How much ya bench/ what's your total? Mirin hard

How tall are you tho cause from that angle it looks like your femur and tibia/fibula lengths are equal

Thanks man

My best bench 227.5kg in the gym and my best meet total is 867.5kg.

If all goes well in April I'm hoping for 380/230/320 for 930kg total
