How fucked am I lads

Yes sir. Good light and pump tho

Nice bois, keep going!

Actually quick question, I'm going to assume that I will have to squat lighter than what I do leg press because the weight will all be sat on my traps, but given what I can leg press, how much lighter should I be going?

empty bar
do a set of 5
if it's hard that's your starting weight
if it's easy add 5 kg
if it's very easy add 10 kg
repeat etc

Well that would be my port of call but I was wondering if there's a general rule of thumb between squats and leg press because I'm probably right in thinking leg press is an easier motion, right?

yes
but there is no general rule

reminder that a leg press is on an incline of 45 degrees so you should multiply the weight used by .5 as that's what you're actually pushing

26
20 days

You should multiply it for sqrt(2)/2 you fucking brainlet, do you even trigonometry

yes, yes, but did u learn yet?

You people be lying. There's something I just don't understand. Dude look way bigger than me but we have the same size and same weight. Is everyone here adding 5cm to their height or what?

Those roids are obvious mate cause no one benches 3 plates in less than a year naturally and I don't understand why people lie about roids on a website where no one knows each other

think he took that pic using a car window as a mirror

My lifting numbers are shit but at least I can do a front and back lever, 10 reps of one hand push ups, partial V-sit for 10 seconds. Working towards planche and one hand pull up some day.

my squat is fucked im an ecto with lanky ass legs, i feel like my distance traveled whist squatting is like twice the length of manlets,

i appreciate the GOMAD pose my friend

What's the point of testing your 1 rep max? It seems useless, dangerous, and purely for bragging rights. I just test how many reps I can get for one set at 2pl8 bench and squat and 3pl8 dead. I add weight when I can do more than 5 reps each.

Ah people are talking about their 1 rep max in this thread? I tought they were talking about the weight they are currently doing their reps with.

Guess this is the right thread to ask. Do you guys keep constant track of your progress with photos and notes about your weight etc.? Started to lift recently and not sure if it would be helpful/motivating to keep track of my progress.

When you first start, it definitely helps. Helps remember what weight you're at. And seeing your progress documented is very motivating. Ignore the dopes that post
>that guy at the gym who keeps a notepad and pen for his workout
It's become such a habit for me that I remember each weight I'm currently at.

100% natty bro, why would I lie on fit

Thats pretty fucking good considering you've only been lifting for 19 months.
You should consider competing in powerlifting, fuck those high reps off.
