I can't really sell until August anyway so I figure I'll see how I feel then. Sitting on 20k right now with about 45k debt between student loans and my car. If it hits 1k+ before I can sell out low tax I'll probably sell half to settle my debts and use the new free income to buy more.

the whole idea is that you have no idea what's going to happen in the future, and if you pretend you do you're probably going to trade badly. It's equally likely that Eth will go to $1000 and 'crash' to $700 before continuing upward. I'm not saying that's what will happen, because I'm not dumb and don't pretend to know the future.
