Thoughts? Is this the next x20?

It's at $4m market cap. Can it get to $80m in the next 2 months?

I'm on Opera. What's the name

EncrypGen (DNA)

It's possible but I wouldn't count on it without major news. I'm balls deep in this btw

Major news? You mean like you can upload genomic information yourself and start trading it in 3 weeks time?

someone shill me on this coin

bioengineer here who knows CRISPR is the future

Encrypgen are aiming to connect all genomic labs around the world to be able to trade genomic metadata through a private blockchain. They've one lab connected already, that you'll be able to buy metadata sets from in January.

People will also be able to upload their own genomic information, anonymise it and sell access to it if they so choose.

If you're in the space you probably know the 100k Genome Project. This is like that, except global and connecting globally. Go watch their latest facebook video update and see the product they're launching before Christmas. With full product launch in January.

This interests me, the amount of "ancestry" and health DNA sequencing companies has blown up. Now 1/3rd of my commericals on Hulu are 23andMe and even normie television has plenty of commericals on different companies. I think this would work decently up to a point, however when it comes to it only being marketed to researchers I see a really low market cap. Also I don't like the website's structure it is a little clunky, team seems okay at best. But my biggest concern is that there hasn't been any news in a while. I don't think it's a scam, but I also don't see it going too far. It's such a narrow service it's offering.

Website relaunch in next 2 weeks. Go watch yesterdays update on their facebook page. Join the discord channel

So they blockchain the meta data? Does that mean that they're providing some statistical analysis on the DNA before sending it? If that's the case I could see it being more useful. Working in a genomics research lab I always dreamed that if I had an extra 10000 hours I could analyze all the DNA we were comparing and find something worthwhile, but we didn't have a bioinformaticst in the lab. Still think that their market has low potential, I mean there might be 10,000 genetics labs that use it, but thats a small customer group.

Thanks, bud

Yeh they index and analyse all the data using their recently installed supercomputer (NVIDIA DGX,4 pascal tensor GPUs, 400+ Tflops). They've a couple of machine learning specialists using it to analyse all the data.

Don't think this will be a top 50 coin, but at $3.8m currently if it got to the top 150 it would be a 10x return

I don't even think it would get to the top 150, but I can see it having 5x maybe. When do you see it gaining momentum?

Well they've got their product lite browser going live before xmas, the new lab in January, VC funding coming in that would dramatically increase their ability to scale.

It'll come down to how many people see it and understand it, and then once it gets announced as being on a bigger exchange. Probably grow slowly for a few more weeks then really start flying Dec-Jan. But who know the market, right?

how is the data stored? if its on the blockchain that makes huge scalability problems

Metadata only on the blockchain, obviously wouldn't be able to store full sequenced information

Where to buy? It’s not listed on Binance.

Only on EtherDelta, launched a few days ago. Applying to bigger exchanges now

I hope that genomics becomes the blockchain equivalent of the space programme at some time in the future. ASIC aligners. Dynamic assemblys of exabyte-scale data. Anonymised reads with multisig decryption, by the locus.

This coin isn't that tho...

Question for you. If you could buy 1000 metadata records of a group of people you were interested in researching instantly, how much would you pay?

DNA tokens are the currency in this trading system

Going from zero to that is not likely a process that will be achieved in one step!
