Market cap growth doesn't imply incoming money. If there are 5 coins, all worth 1$ (5$ market cap) and someone buys a coin for 2$, the market cap is all of a sudden 10$. Did 5$ come into the system? No just 2$.

Market cap is literally supply * price, it says nothing about actual value added.
