Even having your currency denominated in dollars carries a risk. Even having your money in the banking system has a risk. Going outside is a risk.
We are all gamblers and you can only become wealthy by being good at calculating risk, thus we invest in shitcoins.

just went to vegas for the first time, it was probably the most depressing thing i've ever seen. so many suckers go there thinking they'll actually win it big but will always end up losing to the house...it's literally impossible to win unless you game the system somehow. meanwhile i'm here "gambling" with crypto but with proper risk management and some balls i'm pretty well off now. i can maybe understand poker or blackjack where you control some of the risks and odds, but 90% of the casino floor is dedicated to slots... it hurts my brain just thinking about such a stupid risk.
