we are the ether marines and we are not selling!

guys it just went up 1.53%. we are fucking saved

To the moon.

just broke ascending triangle on 15min chart

Too bad I only have 10.

I have a sell order at $499. Granted its only 8% of my eth holdings. But Im about to go to bed. Should I cancel and wait? Is it going to moon? Been holding at $4

I'd just leave it user, I think ETH has a bit of a spring under it ready to unload after BTC is done with 10k euphoria

dont sell dingus

FINALLY MY TIME TO SHINE

koreans about to break 500

I am so glad I risked it this weekend and invested an extra 5k

going to explode like my penis did in my boyfriends ass.

>omg congrats, seriously
>omg

So your saying buy OMG?

>tfw not in a position to invest with real money right now
>tfw paper trading ETH just to see whether my predictions would be correct

The sad thing is, I don't foresee there being any more real cryptocurrency booms after people see what happens to Bitcoin through the week.

God I'm so proud of myself...
For the first time in weeks I held a good coin and didn't follow pumps.

I spent all weekend following pumps and lost like $15, and now I'm back on ETH, hue.

in a sense

I posted this 7 hours ago. Let's see if I'm right and it goes to 500

it will barring a BTC speed bump

I saw that, I appreciated you're analysis. Maybe you should get a small inconspicuous trip so people can follow your knowledge bombs.

lmao if i was right more often then I would. But im afraid I would embarrass myself. Im still not confident in my abilities to have hoards of anons following my calls.

it already hit 502 on bithumb

well im on gdax, i dont use nor look at other exchanges. But thats good news, we always lag behind the asians a bit

Well I'll keep an eye out for your black android charts at least.

>we always lag behind the asians a bi
is there a way to arbitrage

PRESS $ TO SAY THANKS MONEY SKELLY

I feel your pain brother. Fellow 10 ETH holder reporting in.

ive heard the transfer fees arent worth it

cheers mate

>tfw more than 100 ETH

I never asked for this feel, it's starting to make me feel a bit stressed now, I thought making a stupid amount of gains would feel great but now I'm just starting to get anxiety about it. ETH is starting to look more and more like the future and I worry about what that's gonna look like, whether I'm gonna be rich or it's going to be snatched away from me and all come crashing down and hurt inside.

this, looked into it for a while and couldn't get it to add up even with a few tricks

no, just like the chinese koreans are psycho about keeping their money within their borders

ETH is struggling to get above $477 on Binance right now.

Cash out right fucking now user. Bitcoin is going to crash and everything else is going to crash with it.

Based ant hiveminds.

thanks dude, let us give back to you:D discord.gg/Z34m5Yr

I feel ya bro, I'm sitting on 250. storage of the coins becomes a pain point. I keep mine on an encrypted linux box, and have encrypted private key backups in 3 different locations.

I've already taken my whole investment out from the mad altcoin gains during the summer, so I'm sitting on 125k of pure profit. taxes is also a bitch once you are moving a lot of money. I've jumped from the 25% tax bracket to the 28% bracket already this year, and if I sell now I'd be in the 33% bracket.

I've calmed down a little though recently. I don't plan on selling anytime soon so I just need to keep the coins safe and enjoy the ride.

bitcoin is fucked, future-wise. the war between the dev teams and miners is far past the point of return. they will fork themselves to death and all the money and exchange market pairs will slowly move into ETH, where there is actually a solid road map for scaling, and it solves the miner centralization problem by moving to PoS. there will be staking pools once PoS hits so we'll still be able to make money with the expected low return rate. ETH will be fine.

General consensus on US exchanges as I post this is 480 and change.

I haven't done any crypto-trading before; what do you mean by storage of the coins? Is this something to do with the size of blockchains?

Also, if you wanted to cash out some of your cryptocurrency, would you essentially need to find a buyer willing to pay in cash, whether directly or via the service's automatic transaction mechanism? Can you just cash out bits at a time, any time?

We broke $500 a few days ago in Korea.

I actually cashed out a significant amount at that point.

Nice

How about you wait for POS so stack your coins? Could generate decent passive income with 250 eth

ETH is set for a slight dip though before it continues going up. RSI is about 87 in all fiat.

thats good to hear because my portfolio is heavily heavily skewed towards ETH. I always thought that ETH will flip BTC

bros please dont meme me I'm new to crypto. I made 100 dollars which is a lot for me on ETH and I'm gonna put 250 dollars more in.. when should I buy? do you think it will dip to 450~?

Can it hit 0.05500000 BTC in the next few days?

congrats on pedocoin. Seriously

fuck, i only have 65. i feel like you need at least 100 to retire in 2 years

I bought 100 eth back in March for 3 grand

reduced my stack to 75 after daytrading fuck ups. Sold for 370$ in June. Spent hundreds of hours trading shitcoins. Got JUST'd by LINK. My portfolio is now worth 30k. If I just held my original ETH it'd be worth almost 50k.

fucking kek

I use the gemini exchange so they don't have any limits on wire transfers. as long as I can get an order filled I can do whatever I want. and it's unwise to keep your coins on an exchange or online wallet because they can get easily hacked/stolen/lost/etc, the safest thing to do is to keep the coins yourself, but then you have to make sure you don't get hacked or lose them.

the stake returns will likely be too low for most people to stake individually, but we'll see what happens.

there's still plenty of time

why dont you get a trezor

you sound like me at my peak had 210. i should of held. made 40k. fuck

I don't like running non-official software. even if my private key files were stolen someone would still need the password because the key isn't in plain text. all hardware wallets really are are multisig wallets, and a multisig wallet is another point of failure until those mature a little more.

I think ETH will be the future as well, especially since most the coins enterprise will be using in the coming years are based off their network.

plz follow bitcoin's footsteps

10k ETH when???

>selling ETH below $10k each

I really hope normiebase and my bank don't fuck me. I accidentally forwarded that email you get when you link your bank account before immediately realizing my mistake and writing a frantic email to support telling them it was legitimate.

The goyim fell for it again.

>tfw 875 ETH

Literally feels like I am cheating at life atm.

mirin. have you been holding the whole time or did you fuck around with daytrading and lose/win some?

>arrives in 11 days

What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Does it take 11 days before you can make another trade on this shit?

>does it take 11 days before I can make another trade on this shit?

Yes

Haven't touched any of my ETH, but I did sell my ETC at the fork and decided to buy shitcoins instead of putting it back into ETH. I figured I would try it a little to see what happened but it basically cost me 150k. I bought in at 5$ so while it is pretty shitty I am in absolutely no position to complain.

I just bought 2 eth after seeing some nice gains one the .25 I bought a few weeks ago. I honestly feel like my heart is going to explode, no idea how you guys can calmly trade 10k+

That was only $100 worth a year ago :^)

Thanks Veeky Forums for having a thread on Ether back in February. It was like the second time I'd started coming here and I bought all the way up. 106 Ether now

Yeah, ACH is a bitch. I was going to baghold anyway so I decided not to pay the credit card fees.

Is this thing likely to trade above $500 in the next 24hs?

If there's going to be a big correction at $500 I wonder if I should sell off, let it dip and buy again or just hold the whole way.

very nice, im very jealous I didnt even hear about ETH till May, I only have 20. How did you get in on it so early, were you always browsing Veeky Forums before it turned into cryptogeneral?

Is that the only way to purchase ETH right now, or does it depend on the service?

>still using cuckbase
After they stole their user's BCH I don't understand why anyone would still use them. Unless you immediately transfer the coins somewhere else.

make an account on gdax, deposit money in there using an ACH transfer (which will take about a week anyway, same as coinbase), and learn how to use limit orders. You will never pay fees for buying/selling ever again, and it will be instant except for that initial deposit

I'm going to put them in a private wallet the minute it clears.

you become desensitized. Kind of like when you watch too much porn so you delve into the freaky shit

don't worry, one day your portfolio will drop like 1k and you'll shrug your shoulders and maybe buy some more

What the hell was that...

I literally saw someone mention it in passing on a random thread on some Veeky Forums in January 2016, I think it might have been on /pol/ or /tv/ or somewhere else not Veeky Forums. I think this was when it first pumped hard to 3$, I spent a couple weeks doing research on ETH and crypto in general, I had known about crypto since the beginning but never went in because I never had any money. While I was reading up the price went to 5$ and I accumulated for a couple weeks while it went to 7$ because I didn't know I had to up my bank transfer limit. I decided that I wouldnt touch it for 5 years, thinking that an optimistic outcome would be ETH reaching 100$ in 5 years.

Way back then Veeky Forums wasn't really about cryptos at all, so there was really no shilling. Now its like walking a minefield if you want to get into alts because of the overwhelming amount of shilling and trolling that happens now.

Haha in Jan. ALL of the shilling was ETH, and it was fucking nonstop.

Oh I see you meant 2016, nvm

Cash something out so you can actually enjoy your gains

OH WAIT YOU CANT CASH OUT

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

monopoly money right user?

You never stop treating your pile of gains like you treated the comparatively small initial cost basis.
>t. lucky novice stock gains

Honestly it feels really weird knowing that I made more in the last year than 99.9% of the world because of some random user on the internet.

ATH!

MOONING

THAT BTC DINOSAUR BETTER NOT INTERRUPT US

this was very helpful thanks. is limit order basically the same shit as buying it without the fees?

Just bought 1 eth at 490

have 2 i bought at 300

i am going to put all the left overs of my paycheck into eth even if I have to eat nothing but ramen to survive. MEME MAGIC DONT FAIL ME NOW! COME ONNNN

BTC is chillin, giving his old friend Eth a nice path. How kind!

how long has this bot on gdax been active

what do you guys think about LTC?

ledger nano s

the cent of bitcoin?

you mean the hundreds of bots?

Went troguht the same thing but didnt buy anything because I read 1 post saying that the price of ETH was irrelevant because of gas is "tied to the dollar and not ETH" etc etc.

All 3 currencies on GDAX are going crazy compared to other alts. This has to be because of a normie influx right?

>bitcoin is fucked, future-wise. the war between the dev teams and miners is far past the point of return.

You guys all realise ETH is rising because of btc, right?

Yea, but look at visa when it went ipo... it was going to follow mastercard no matter what, and it did. ETH is the same.

I should have bought ETH having just hearing and seeing the fucking CEO. He looks like he's been in the matrix

Damn, and the better tech has the most market cap.
Visa.
Ether

you'll have 10 million usd by 2019

is this price manipulation? wth is this?
