I bought $10k worth of BTC when it was $300.

At the peak, I had around 40 BTC.

So I only lost out on about $400k...

I would be up $10,000 instead of $75,000. ETH > BTC.

Between DGB and ZRX lost 2 BTC. Stilll holding ETH as hedge for when BTC crashes.

Thankfully I managed to make about the exact same amount I would have made just holding Bitcoin through altcoins, but it was so much insanely harder doing it this way.

$200k, then I put it all in dogecoin and vertcoin and left for 4 years.

Sold it when the price went above $400. Eventually bought ETH and built GPU mining rigs.

Also wasted some of the money (it was my savings). Fixed my truck. Misc life stuff. I'm not rich or anything -- just a normal dude.

Did hop on ethereum when it was like 12 dollars though so I got one train at least.

Yeah when things get sideways during the consolidation I'm expecting to make up for the losses, it is just frustrating missing out on a chance to ride bitcoin up then flip into the alts to make even more money.

If I sold my RuneScape gold for all BTC instead of 50/50 Paypal/BTC in 2015 I would be $300k richer. Hindsight is 20/20, though; if I was back in 2015 and I didn't have knowledge of the future, I'd still choose to go with the 50/50 split because I used the fiat to pay off my higher interest college loans.
